Pilot Scoop: Cougar Town Star Relocates to NBC

Here’s some news that should send Cougar Town‘s Travis straight into the loving arms of Big Carl: His girlfriend just scored a pilot.

Collette Wolfe — who plays Dan Byrd’s onscreen squeeze Kirsten on the much-missed ABC comedy — has been tapped to replace Amanda Loncar in NBC’s comedy pilot Lovelines.

The project follows NYC newlyweds Tim (Veronica Mars‘ Ryan Hansen) and Holly (Wolfe) as they navigate the ups and downs of coupledom. Sean Maguire (Off Centre) and Stella Maeve (Gossip Girl) costar as Tim’s siblings.

    • Uh, how is that a downgrade? She is going to be a co-star of the show? Cougar Town is a horrible show anyway, but she wasn’t a co-star. It is an upgrade go back to school Doug

      • I could be wrong but I’m assuming Doug meant that Collette is a down grade from Amanda, not that that moving to NBC is a down grade.

  • Aw man, I really liked Kirsten! Well, I like Ryan Hansen too, so I guess I’ll check out this new show.

  • That sucks ’cause she’s totally cute on CT. + I don’t want to see Travis and Laurie hookup. :(

  • I’m glad she’s leaving CT…she is a terrible actress. I will not be watching her new show.
