Modern Family Exclusive: Bobby Cannavale Set to Clown Around as Fizbo's Former [Spoiler]!

A skeleton is about to pop out of Fizbo’s bag of tricks in the form of Emmy winner Bobby Cannavale.

The Will & Grace alum is set to guest star on Modern Family as Louis, the former clown partner of Cam’s alter ego Fizbo, sources confirm to TVLine exclusively.

There’s no word on the circumstances surrounding Louis’ early ’12 reappearance or if Cam will be happy to see his ex-sidekick.

Cannavale heads to Family after wrapping up a 10-episode arc as a hard-headed hospital administrator on the upcoming fourth season of Nurse Jackie.

  • I use to love this show. But, I see it going the way so many great ensembles go. I’m sure it’s too tough to resist when there’s a breakout star. Easier to capitalize on that I suppose. It becomes a different, not better, show. A wise decision would be to stick with the ensemble, they’re all talented and work very well together.

    • I’m not sure what you mean. Last night’s episode had great scenes for all the members of the cast. Occasionally they focus more on one character than the other, but generally they do a great job of involving all the actors. That’s why they all tend to compete with each other come Emmy time.
