The X Factor Leaderboard: Who's Got Momentum From The Season 2 Top 6? Take Our Poll!
FOX's "The X Factor" Season 2 Top 16 Live Performance Show
6. CeCe Frey
(Last week No. 7)
"Lady Marmalade" was fun to watch — like Madonna's VMA performance of "Vogue" bursting out of a Sweet'N Low packet — but CeCe hasn't delivered a decent vocal since the Judges' Houses round. Why does she insist on tackling Celine, Patti, and Bette, when there are so many less-imposing divas to try on for size?
Request List: Paula Abdul's "Cold Hearted"
THE X FACTOR: 12 Perform: Diamond. CR: Ray Mickshaw / FOX.
5. Diamond White
(Last week No. 4)
Excellent Top 10 rendition of "Because You Loved Me" only got her to No. 5 in viewer votes, and another middling Whitney Houston cover sent her into a scary sing-off against Vino Alan. Unless her "mentor" makes a big, bold move with song selection and staging, Diamond seems like an almost certain elimination in the next week or two.
Request List: Amerie's "Gotta Work" or George Michael's "Praying for Time"
FOX's "The X Factor" Season 2 Top 16 Live Performance Show
4. Fifth Harmony
(Last week No. 2)
They have the potential to win the whole enchilada, but not if Simon is content to have them stand in a straight line and pass the mic from singer to singer, instead of pushing them toward more interesting staging and insisting that they actually harmonize. "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)" was a good choice on paper, and solidly sung, but the execution was all wrong — which is frustrating, considering their raw talent and real-world potential.
Request List: Florence + the Machine's "Dog Days Are Over" or Madonna's "Don't Tell Me"

3. Emblem3
(Last week No. 5)
No one's questioning their energy or charisma, but Demi Lovato was absolutely right that The Monkees' "I'm a Believer" did nothing to show their artistry or commercial relevance. The guys responded they write their own music and play their own instruments — which we saw way back in their audition — now it's time their mentor let them sink or swim on their own merits.
Request List: An Emblem3 original, please.

2. Tate Stevens
(Last week No. 6)
As consistent, solid, and un-controversial as your morning oatmeal, but in a season where some remaining acts have yet to prove they can hit more than 50 percent of their notes, that predictability is becoming a real asset. Not to mention, dude is majorly likeable.
Request List: Shelby Lynn's "Leavin'" or Celine Dion's "Where Does My Heart Beat Now"
FOX's "The X Factor" Season 2 Top 16 Live Performance Show
1. Carly Rose Sonenclar
(Last week No. 1)
If she's hit a single sour note this season, it had to have happened in rehearsal. Yet while she's looking more and more unstoppable with each passing week, it would be nice if the show worked a little harder to find songs for Carly Rose that were more age-appropriate. Adele's "Rolling in the Deep," after all, is pretty heavy for an eighth-grader, no?
Request List: Martika's "Love...Thy Will Be Done" or Tiffany's "All This Time" or Mariah Carey's "Make It Happen"
