Tyler Perry's Sistas: 7 Times Andi Should've Kicked Gary To The Curb

Gary has done some foul things to Andi, and yet she stays. With a little luck and prayer, this could change on Tyler Perry's Sistas, now that Andi has walked in on her fiancé engaging in some sort of freaky threesome.

Gary will likely tell Andi that Angela, his "therapist," had the stranger simulate a sex act on him while Angela instructed them to cure his, um, anger issues when the midseason finale airs Wednesday at 9/8c. But if the previews are any indication, Andi isn't buying what Angela, Gary and that other lady are selling. She's also ready to take her chances with her handsome coworker Robin on the soapy and beloved BET drama.

As fans of Tyler Perry's Sistas can attest, this isn't the first time Andi should've kicked Gary's terrible ass to the curb. He was married when they first started dating, and if that wasn't enough of a red flag, his now ex-wife Jasmine tried to destroy Andi's career and kill her.

Here are seven more instances when Andi had the chance to lace up her sneakers and run in the opposite direction... but didn't. Don't see one of Gary's horrible acts on the list? Tell us your thoughts and what we might've missed in the comments.

7. Andi dated a married Gary

Who are we kidding? Andi and Gary's relationship has been fraught with unnecessary drama from the start. In the very first episode, the star-crossed couple briefly celebrated her birthday before Gary ran off to be with his wife Jasmine and their children — who thought he was working out at the gym. Sound familiar, Andi? Before he left, Gary assured Andi that he would leave Jasmine eventually and that he wasn't "like those other guys who play that game." Whatever, dude.

6. Gary threw Jasmine from a parking structure roof

Even if one were to chalk up Jasmine's falling off the side of a parking structure as an accident, the fact that Gary had anything to do with her near-death experience is telling. Did he give her those suspicious marks on her face? No, but Jasmine's advice to Andi was still valid. She warned Andi that Gary was controlling, would try and isolate her from her friends and family, and even stop her from working if he could.

5. The FBI arrested Gary and left Andi stranded

It was no sooner than Jasmine warned Andi that Gary would attempt to isolate her from her friends and family that he did just that. This fool drove her out to the country to a funky old farmhouse and started talking about starting a new life together. Huh?

When she asked Gary about her job, he said she could start her own divorce firm. When Andi inquired about staying close to friends, Gary was like, "Make new friends." Thankfully, his crazy talk came to an end in the Season 1 finale when the FBI rolled up and straight-up arrested Gary for embezzlement. Unfortunately, this meant Andi was left without a phone and a car, and she had to walk in heels to get help. Oh, Andi.

4. Gary was jealous of Hayden

Despite warnings from everyone, Andi tried her best to get Gary out of the slammer so he could beat those embezzlement charges. She helped him hide money, and she even enlisted the help of Hayden so that he could represent Gary in court. There was just one problem — Gary is a jealous man. And soon enough, he started questioning Andi about the nature of her relationship with Hayden. Andi tried to tell him there was nothing going on with Hayden, but Gary didn't believe her in the Season 2 installment, and he essentially broke up with her.

3. Andi moved and grooved on with Paris

Andi and Paris, sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S... well, you know the rest. It was beyond validating when Andi and Gary broke up and she got her freak on with Paris. Sadly, while their connection didn't move beyond the bedroom, Andi did get to experience a sense of self-generated excitement and a reprieve from the mind games and strife that her relationship with Gary all but guarantees.

2. Jasmine nearly ruined Andi's career

Gary actually left Jasmine for Andi — but there were consequences. After he deserted her, Jasmine rolled up to Andi's place of employment and demanded that Andi represent her in court. Jasmine said that if Andi refused, she would have the attorney disbarred. This frightened Andi, who had no choice but to send Gary home to reunite with Jasmine so she wouldn't have to take her on as a client.

This infuriated Gary, who said that he didn't want to go back to his soon-to-be ex-wife, but Andi reminded Gary this was bigger than him. She didn't want to lose her job or be disbarred because of a vengeful Jasmine's vindictive ways.

1. Jasmine shot Gary... or did she?

Not even the threat of death could rip Gary away from Andi. Jasmine shot Gary and threatened to do the same to Andi until she overpowered Jasmine and escaped just in time for the police to arrive. The police arrested Jasmine, and it was eventually revealed that Gary had survived because he replaced Jasmine's bullets (when? How?) with rubber ones. With all of that nonsense to mentally masticate, Andi should've dumped Gary then and there just to avoid headaches. But she didn't.
