Lady Gaga Roasts Herself In SNL Monologue With Jokes About R. Kelly Duet And Joker 2's Razzie Win — Watch
Lady Gaga pulled double duty this week on Saturday Night Live as host and musical guest, and she took the opportunity in her monologue to offer a few mea culpas.
This is Gaga's second time hosting SNL, and she pointed out on Saturday's show that back in her first hosting stint in 2013, "every aspect of my performance aged amazingly." She then asked viewers not to Google her 2013 episode, where she performed "Do What U Want"... with guest vocals by R. Kelly. "I won't bring it up, because that would be bad," she joked, adding: "Anyway, I'm an actor now!"
But that also has its pitfalls, she admitted, including her starring role in last year's infamous bomb Joker: Folie à Deux. "Apparently, people thought it was awesome," she quipped, adding that she and co-star Joaquin Phoenix won a Razzie for worst onscreen duo: "But joke's on them: I love winning things!" In fact, now she's one step closer to an EGORT, she said: "It's like an EGOT... but hurtful!" She raved about being on SNL, though, and made a vow to the audience: "I promise to act, to sing... and to not do Joker 3."
