SNL Video: Sabrina Carpenter Joins Quinta Brunson To Sing About Being Short — Watch
Quinta Brunson may be short, but she knows how to make a big splash.
The Abbott Elementary star hosted this week's Saturday Night Live, and in her monologue, she revealed she's been looked down upon a lot in her life — maybe because she's only 4'11". But she's proud of being short, and she sang a song dedicated to all her fellow "shorties," listing off all the advantages of being tiny. (She can get wasted on only one glass of wine!) She also gave a shout-out to famous short people like Olympic champ Simone Biles (4'8") and rap superstar Kendrick Lamar (5'5").
But she couldn't do it alone, so she was joined on stage by pop songstress Sabrina Carpenter... who looks to be maybe an inch taller than Brunson, if that. They bonded over being short ("When you read short stories, do they feel like novels?") before breaking into more singing and dancing. After cast member Marcello Hernandez popped in just so he could feel taller standing next to them, they were joined by NBA legend Dwyane Wade. Wait, isn't he 6'4"? Yes, he explained — but that's pretty short for a basketball player.
