Experience
Katy is a pop-culture connoisseur who has written about entertainment for over 20 years. She got her start as an assistant editor at Billboard Magazine, where she moved up and around and wore different hats over the many years she was associated with the high-profile music magazine. Beyond that, she has written for several other prominent print and online publications, including Rolling Stone, TMZ.com, and The Hollywood Reporter, among others. She most recently contributed to Static Media's Looper.com for over six years before joining TVLine, where she enthusiastically brings a lifetime of expertise to every story she writes.
Education
Katy has a bachelor's degree from New York University, where she double majored in cinema studies and women's studies.
