• A life-long pop-culture enthusiast, Katy has always immersed herself in movies and TV, hoping one day that the ultra-vivid memory of Dr. Kimberly Shaw on "Melrose Place" whipping off her wig in real-time would come in handy in a professional setting.
• She has interviewed hundreds of celebrities, including Jeremy Renner, Gary Oldman, Patricia Arquette, Miley Cyrus, and everyone in between.
• One of her greatest personal achievements has been meeting and interviewing the coveted Star Wars trifecta of Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, and Carrie Fisher at various points in her career.

Experience

Katy is a pop-culture connoisseur who has written about entertainment for over 20 years. She got her start as an assistant editor at Billboard Magazine, where she moved up and around and wore different hats over the many years she was associated with the high-profile music magazine. Beyond that, she has written for several other prominent print and online publications, including Rolling Stone, TMZ.com, and The Hollywood Reporter, among others. She most recently contributed to Static Media's Looper.com for over six years before joining TVLine, where she enthusiastically brings a lifetime of expertise to every story she writes.
