Experience
Phil's first writing gig was with the British regional daily newspaper, The Chronicle, penning reviews for live music events, theater performances, and stand-up comedy shows across North East England. After a stint as a soccer reporter at Sports Mole, he found his forever home in entertainment writing. He was a contributor at What Culture and Screen Rant before he joined TVLine's sister site Looper as a features writer in 2016. He's now a full-time editor at TVLine.
Education
Phil earned a bachelor's degree in politics and media studies from Northumbria University and then fine-tuned his writing skills with the U.K.'s National Council for the Training of Journalists.
