The Desperate Housewives/True Blood alumna will recur during the drama's second season as a former slave who has moved to the Five Points to start a new life. First, however, she'll have to reconcile the events of her past.

• WWE Superstar Mike "The Miz" Mizanin is set to star opposite The Secret Life of the American Teenager's Francia Raisa in ABC Family's original movie Christmas Bounty. The romantic comedy — which centers on a bounty hunter-turned-teacher (Raisa) — will air as part of the cabler's 25 Days of Christmas programming block.
• Jamie Foxx has partnered with Syfy on a horror anthology series to launch in October 2013. The untitled project, to be written, directed and exec-produced by the Oscar winner, will center on creepy morality tales with themes like envy and superficiality.

• Lifetime has given the green light to Baby Sellers, Deadline reports, an original movie about infant trafficking. The project, starring Kirstie Alley and Jennifer Finnigan (Monday Mornings), is a sequel of sorts to the cabler's hit 2005 telepic Human Trafficking.
• History is developing a Harry Houdini-centric miniseries starring Oscar winner Adrian Brody as the magic man, EW.com reports.
• Comedy Central has ordered a stand-up series from Workaholics' Adam DeVine. Titled Adam DeVine's House Party, the eight-episode show will feature stand-up and sketches from 24 of the funnyman's favorite up-and-coming comedians.
