TVLine Items: Another Office Actor Joins A Greg Daniels Pilot, Attack Of The Show Axed And More
Showing faith in yet another of his long-time Office actors, Greg Daniels has tapped Brian Baumgartner to star in his untitled ABC comedy pilot.
Per Deadline, the Dunder Mifflin vet will headline the single-camera project, which centers on a mid-level airline executive desperate to win again — at anything.
Parks and Recreation supervising producer Harris Wittels will pen the potential series, with Daniels acting as executive producer.

As previously reported, Baumgartner's Office co-star Craig Robinson is also staying in business with Daniels, starring in his boss' untitled NBC pilot about a musician adjusting to life as a middle school music teacher.

• G4 has opted to end two of its long-running series, Attack of the Show and X-Play. Per TV Guide Magazine, both series will continue production through the end of the year, airing their respective final installments in December.
• NBC will air its holiday-themed game show Howie Mandel's Take It All (formerly Howie Mandel's White Elephant) the week of Dec. 10-14 at 9/8c. The series will conclude Monday, Dec. 17 with back-to-back episodes beginning at 9 pm.
