TVLine Items: Castle Books Antonio Sabato Jr., Parenthood Season 5 First Look And More
Castle has nabbed a bold, beautiful guest star for an upcoming nostalgia trip of an episode.
Soap hunk Antonio Sabato Jr. (The Bold and the Beautiful) is slated to guest-star on Season 6 of the ABC drama, TVGuide.com reports.
Sabato will play Ramon Russo, an actor best known for his role on 2 Cool For School, a fictional '90s sitcom reminiscent of Saved By the Bell. When the show's Screech-like character is murdered prior to a reunion movie, Castle, Esposito and Ryan must investigate... until someone very familiar steps in to help.
The actor has plenty of 1990s-era pop culture cred of his own: He played General Hospital's Jagger Cates in the early part of that decade and debuted on Melrose Place in 1995.
Season 6 of Castle premieres on Monday, Sept. 23 at 10/9c.
