Casting News: 3 Body Problem Adds Game Of Thrones Vet, Ariel Winter Joins Thundermans Movie And More
Netflix is staging a Game of Thrones reunion.
Alfie Allen has joined the cast of 3 Body Problem, reuniting TV's erstwhile Theon Greyjoy with Thrones creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss. Character details are being kept under wraps.
Season 2, which is currently in production, has also added David Yip (A View to a Kill), Jordan Sunshine (The Pitt) and, as previously reported, Claudia Doumit (The Boys) and Ellie De Lange (Wolf Hall).
In other casting news...
* The Terminal List Season 2 has tapped Edwin Hodge (FBI: Most Wanted) and Caitlin Bassett (Quantum Leap) to recur in undisclosed roles, Deadline reports.
* Ariel Winter (Modern Family) has been cast in the next Thundermans movie, Clash of the Thundermans. Per Deadline, the made-for-TV film will bow on Nickelodeon and Paramount+ in 2026.
* Netflix's as-yet-untitled, Newfoundland-based limited series starring Josh Hartnett (The Bear), Mackenzie Davis (Halt and Catch Fire) and Charlie Heaton (Stranger Things) has added the following four actors: Willow Kean (The King Tide), Ruby Stokes (Lockwood & Co.), Rohan Campbell (Halloween Ends) and Kaleb Horn (Chucky). The official logline reads: "When a mysterious sea creature terrorizes a remote Newfoundland town, a hard-bitten fisherman must fight to protect his family, his community and his vanishing way of life."
