HBO's Harry Potter Series Enlists Warwick Davis To Reprise Professor Filius Flitwick — Plus, 7 Others Cast
HBO's Harry Potter series has added eight more to its ensemble — including a familiar face from the feature film franchise.
Warwick Davis, who appeared in all eight movies, will reprise his role as Charms professor Filius Flitwick in the small-screen adaptation. His return was confirmed during Warner Bros.' Back to Hogwarts celebration; a behind-the-scenes photo can be seen below:

In addition to Davis, the HBO original has cast Elijah Oshin as Dean Thomas; Finn Stephens as Vincent Crabbe; William Nash as Gregory Goyle; Sirine Saba as Professor Pomona Sprout; Richard Durden as Professor Cuthbert Binns; Bríd Brennan as Madam Poppy Pomfrey; and Leigh Gill as Griphook.

As previously announced, young actors Dominic McLaughlin, Arabella Stanton and Alastair Stout will respectively play the main trio of Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley, while John Lithgow (as Albus Dumbledore), Janet McTeer (Minerva McGonagall), Paapa Essiedu (Severus Snape) and Nick Frost (Rubeus Hagrid) are among the adult cast members.
The Harry Potter series, which began production in July, is described as a "faithful adaptation" of J.K. Rowling's popular novels, "full of the fantastic detail and much-loved characters Harry Potter fans have adored for over 25 years," per the official synopsis.
The series is written by Francesca Gardiner, while fellow executive producer Mark Mylod will direct multiple episodes. Rowling, Neil Blair, Ruth Kenley-Letts and David Heyman also serve as EPs.
