Casting News: Charlie Hunnam Returns For More Monster, SkyMed Adds 5 And More
Charlie Hunnam is ready to sign on for another season of Monster.
The Sons of Anarchy veteran, who is set to play infamous killer Ed Gein in the upcoming Season 3 of Ryan Murphy's Netflix anthology, is also in talks to play Lizzie Borden's father Andrew Jackson Borden in Season 4, Variety reports.
Ella Beatty (FEUD: Capote vs. the Swans) will star as Lizzie Borden, who was accused of murdering her father and stepmother with an axe, with her trial turning her into a media sensation. Rebecca Hall (The Town) will play Lizzie's stepmother Abby, with Vicky Krieps (Phantom Thread) as family maid Bridget Sullivan.
Season 3 of Monster, starring Hunnam as Ed Gein, debuts Friday, Oct. 3 on Netflix.

* The Paramount+ medical drama SkyMed has added five actors to its cast ahead of the upcoming Season 4, per Deadline, with Shawn Ahmed (The Expanse), Leishe Meyboom (Locke & Key), Alexander Eling (The Way Home), and Cecilia Lee (Fear Street: Prom Queen) as new series regulars. Plus, Lauren Lee Smith (Frankie Drake Mysteries) joins the cast in a recurring role.
* Netflix has revealed the stars of its upcoming adaptation of The Age of Innocence, based on the classic Edith Wharton novel that inspired a 1993 Martin Scorsese film. Ben Radcliffe (Masters of the Air) will star as society gentleman Newland Archer, with Kristine Froseth (The Buccaneers) as Newland's fiancée May and Camila Morrone (Daisy Jones & the Six) as May's free-spirited cousin Ellen. Also, Emmy winner Margo Martindale (The Americans) will play May and Ellen's grandmother Mrs. Manson-Mingott.
* Mindy Kaling's new Hulu comedy Not Suitable for Work, about five work-obsessed twentysomethings living in Manhattan's Murray Hill neighborhood, has announced its leads: Nicholas Duvernay (The White Lotus), Ella Hunt (Dickinson), Jack Martin (La Brea), Avantika (Mean Girls) and Will Angus (Prom Dates).
* The Hulu comedy pilot Group Chat, starring La La Anthony and executive-produced by Kim Kardashian and Kenya Barris, has added four actors to its cast: Yaya DaCosta (Chicago Med), Melanie Liburd (This Is Us), Rebecca Rittenhouse (The Mindy Project) and Stephanie Suganami (Power Book II: Ghost).
