Ransom Canyon: Two Series Regulars Out Ahead Of Season 2 — Plus, See Who's Joining The Cast
Two of Ransom Canyon's main cast members are riding off into the sunset.
Eoin Macken and Andrew Liner, who play father and son Davis and Reid, will not be returning as series regulars for Season 2 of the Netflix ranch drama, according to Deadline. There's no word yet on whether they might appear again as guest stars.
Macken played Davis Collins, a rancher who served as a rival to Josh Duhamel's Staten Kirkland — and also competed with Staten for the affections of Minka Kelly's Quinn O'Grady. Liner played Davis' son Reid, the star quarterback of the local high school football team and heir to the Collins family ranch.

Meanwhile, the series has added Ben Robson (Animal Kingdom) and Heidi Engerman (Chicago Fire) to the Season 2 cast as recurring guest stars, with both set to appear in multiple episodes. Filming on Season 2 is currently underway in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Debuting in April with a 10-episode freshman season, Ransom Canyon was renewed by Netflix in June. (Check out our finale post mortem here.) In Season 2, "passions run deep in Ransom Canyon, where three ranching family dynasties reignite a generations-long feud over love, land, and legacy in their small, West Texas town," per the official description.
