SNL Cast Member Devon Walker Announces Exit After 3 Seasons: 'Sometimes It Was Toxic As Hell'

Devon Walker has said his final goodnights in Studio 8H: He's leaving the cast of Saturday Night Live after three seasons.

Walker announced the news on Instagram on Monday, adding a caption reading "me and baby broke up," along with a note that shed more light on his exit: "Me and the show did three years together, and sometimes it was really cool. Sometimes it was toxic as hell. But we did what we made the most of what it was, even amidst all the dysfunction. We made a f–ked-up lil family."

Walker joined SNL in 2022 as a featured player, earning a promotion to repertory player for last year's landmark Season 50. He was best known for his impressions of New York City mayor Eric Adams and sports figures like Shannon Sharpe and Draymond Green.

Along with Walker, SNL's Season 50 cast included Michael Che, Mikey Day, Andrew Dismukes, Chloe Fineman, Heidi Gardner, Marcello Hernández, James Austin Johnson, Colin Jost, Michael Longfellow, Ego Nwodim, Sarah Sherman, Kenan Thompson and Bowen Yang, with featured players Ashley Padilla, Emil Wakim and Jane Wickline.
