If the awards buzz is to be believed, the oft-overlooked TV vet — one of three White Lotus performers nominated for Supporting Actor in a Drama Series — has a better than strong chance of winning his first Emmy at the Sept. 14 ceremony on CBS. 

Goggins' biggest obstacle to Emmy glory, per punditry chatter? Severance standout Tramell Tillman. 

There's also the possibility that the men of White Lotus and Severance will cancel each other out, which would pave the way for Paradise's James Marsden to pick up his first gold statue.
