What Is Sling Select?
On Tuesday, just one week after launching short-term streaming passes, Sling began offering another new service: Sling Select. At just $19.99 per month, Select is one of the most affordable ways to access live entertainment and on-demand TV. The plan includes popular channels such as Fox News, FX and NFL Network. As with other Sling plans, customers in select markets can also gain access to local ABC, NBC and Fox. (A surcharge does apply in eligible markets.)
"Sling Select is perfect for customers who want a streamlined, cost-effective way to enjoy the channels they love," Sling product and operations SVP Seth Van Sickel said in a press release. "With the freedom to choose what you watch and how much you pay, Sling continues to lead the way in TV that works for real people."
