2 | Has it occurred to any other SNL viewers that Five-Timers' Club member John Mulaney is rocking Shawn Hunter's haircut? ▼ Also, what was weirder: That SNL didn't announce the first host of January during the last commercial break before the musical guest, or that host Martin Short disappeared for a large swath of the episode, and wasn't in the Sabado Gigante sketch?
3 | Should Dune: Prophecy's Theodosia have taken a cue from Avengers: Endgame and "gone for the head" when pulling her blade on Desmond?
4 | Bad Sisters viewers: So we're supposed to believe that Cormac Sweeney, notorious scofflaw and all-around bad guy, is just going to... give Eva back Blánaid's money because Loftus threatened him?
5 | Regarding the Shrinking finale: Are we to assume that Alice fished her phone out of the basket just in time to see Louis' text, then sent Jimmy to stop him from doing something stupid versus go herself? Or that Jimmy was snooping, saw Louis' text on Alice's phone, then had Alice tell him where to find Louis? ▼ And how, exactly, did Jimmy know about the game that Louis used to play with former fiancée Sarah, where they'd sit on a bench and come up with backstories for their fellow commuters?
6 | Why didn't Skeleton Crew's Jod/Jack/Silvo/Dash simply pretend to go along with the original "reward" plan, versus create a scenario where he'll now have to infiltrate At Attin by himself? Also, is there any chance the Hutt we saw bathing at the Lanupa spa was Jeremy Allen White's Stinky?
7 | Was the stone shrine in Doctor Who: Joy to the World a bit too perfectly constructed/squared-off for Sweet Baby Jesus' time? And despite all the preview talk about Nicole Coughlan's Joy being a "one-off companion," didn't Steph De Whalley's Anita develop a far more memorable bond with Fifteen during the special?
8 | Is there even a remote possibility that Kendrick Lamar's Super Bowl halftime show on Fox tops Beyoncé's Christmas Day halftime show on Netflix? And based on what you saw Wednesday, which streamer would you say puts on a better NFL broadcast: Netflix, or Thursday Night Football host Prime Video?
9 | What's the bigger flex, the prolific Taylor Sheridan writing himself characters to play on both Yellowstone and Lioness, or the prolific James Gunn featuring his animated self in the Creature Commandos opening credits? ▼
10 | As entertaining and quippy as Creature Commandos is, aren't the twenty-ish-minute episodes kind of... slight? And ephemeral? Also, assuming the Clayface we saw this week is the same character getting a live-action DCU film via Mike Flanagan, do you think it will be Basil Karlo, or another iteration?
11 | In White Christmas, how/why did the nightclub have handy a recording of the Haynes Sisters' "Sisters," which Bob and Phil used when they lip-synched the number?
12 | What gives you a more visceral ick every year: When Home Alone's Marv steps on the nail with his bare foot, or when A Christmas Story's Flick licks the frozen pole?
13 | Did "What If... Agatha Went to Hollywood?" kinda make you miss Kingo and the other Eternals? How do we feel about Howard the Duck and Darcy the Human having a baby together, born from an egg? And all told, did Season 3 veer (wildly?) from the anthology's original "What if one or two details in a familiar story changed?" to "What if familiar characters engaged in something pretty damn random?"
14 | In the newest Outlander, wasn't Fanny's surprised reaction to the news that William would protect her and Jane a bit bigger than you expected, given that there was no way she didn't hear the conversation from just a few feet away?
