Young Han Solo

The origin story of the series' most charismatic character seems like a no-brainer – one idea is to use A. C. Crispin's The Han Solo Trilogy as an outline. The books follow Solo as a pickpocket, decommissioned Imperial Navy officer and fledgling smuggler. Plus, who wouldn't want to see Han and Chewbacca get to know each other as they traverse a galaxy far, far away? It'd be like Firefly... with Wookiees! (Yeah yeah, we know Star Wars came first. Relax, everyone.)

Young Luke Skywalker

We're a bit hesitant on this one, actually – when we first meet teen Luke in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, he's kind of a brat. But we can envision a Smallville-like scenario where Luke grows up on Tatooine, farming moisture with Aunt Beru and Uncle Owen, hanging out with pals like Biggs Darklighter and being secretly watched by an exiled Obi-Wan.

Young Leia Organa

In this spunky coming-of-age tale, (think Suburgatory meets Battlestar Galactica) we could watch Luke's twin sister go about her life as an adopted princess on Alderaan and become a member of the Imperial Senate – and somewhere along the way turn into a Rebel Alliance spy. Plus, before Han came along, we're sure there were many hunky young buffs who admired Leia's buns. (We're talking about her hairdo. Get your mind out of the intergalactic gutter.)

Darth Vader's Rise to Power

Anti-heroes are big now, so who's to say Darth Vader can't be the next Walter White or Jax Teller? At the end of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, Anakin Skywalker forsakes his humanity and takes a lava bath. The series could chronicle the masked one's continued anti-Jedi crusade afterwards, possibly using established novels (like James Luceno's Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader) or even video games (like Star Wars: The Force Unleashed) as a guide.

Boba Fett and His Ilk

Bounty hunters like Fett are mercenaries, which make them very intriguing: When money is the only thing that governs you, your alliances can shift with warp speed. We saw a glimpse of little Boba in Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones; why not show us his later years, perhaps complete with a gang of gun-for-hire pals who trust each other about as far as they can blast each other?

Cloud City

We're assuming the planet Bespin's airy outpost, known for its casinos, was a pretty happening place even before Darth Vader captured Han & Company. We're thinking maybe a Las Vegas or even Love Boat-type drama, with lots of guest stars each week and a charismatic lead playing traitor Han's old pal Lando Calrissian as he deals with labor issues, gets himself in deep trying to wrangle supplies and build up the little piece of heaven.
