Big Brother All-Stars: 16 Returning Houseguests We Want Back
It's been 14 years since Big Brother's last all-returnees battle, but it's time to hit the reset button: All-Stars 2 is finally in the works! Here, TVLine declares our dream picks for this long-anticipated summertime smackdown, from OG houseguests to newer fan-favorites. Who do you want to see back in the house? View our selections below, then tell us your faves in the Comments.
Big Brother All-Stars Dream Cast Alex Willett
ALEX WILLETT, BIG BROTHER OVER THE TOP
If you neglected to watch the franchise's online-only edition in 2016, you sorely missed out. Alex and the Ball Smashers proved that female alliances can work in the Big Brother house. Despite the season's wonky rules, this superfan proved she could win comps, be socially strategic and be loyal to her ladies, which included her sister, Morgan. We'd love to see what Alex could do in a regular season without all of America's pesky interferences.
Big Brother All-Stars Dream Cast Derrick Levasseur
DERRICK LEVASSEUR, BIG BROTHER 16
Though Derrick did win multiple Head of Household competitions during Season 16, you could argue that he was in control of the BB house all summer long, whether or not the HOH key was around his neck. While keeping his real profession as a cop hidden from the house (and carrying out tasks for Team America), Derrick played a confident, quietly manipulative game, subtly persuading others to do his bidding while he avoided the chopping block until finale night. He's easily one of the show's all-time savviest strategists, and an All-Stars season would be incomplete without him.
Big Brother All-Stars Dream Cast Donny Thompson
DONNY THOMPSON, BIG BROTHER 16
The North Carolina groundskeeper won one HOH, three vetoes and viewers' hearts, eventually earning the season's title of America's Favorite Houseguest. He was well liked in the house, too, and had a great handle of the game, despite not being able to convince his fellow houseguests to ditch Derrick, who eventually took the W. Still, Donny 2.0 would be a treat to watch and we're interested in seeing how he would shake up his game. Plus, the guy just deserves it.
Big Brother All-Stars Dream Cast Enzo Palumbo
ENZO PALUMBO, BIG BROTHER 12
Can you imagine what a return of the Meow-Meow would look like!? We can and we want to see it. Enzo's Brigade alliance dominated the BB house, establishing their core center and making strong relationships on the side to ensure their protection. It was a well thought out strategy that was expertly executed. Plus, besides looking stunning in a penguin suit, Enzo is a hoot in the diary room.
Big Brother All-Stars Dream Cast Eric Stein
ERIC STEIN, BIG BROTHER 8
A self-described Big Brother superfan, Eric came into Season 8 with an acute understanding of how the game is played and the gift of gab. (You may recall Week 5 of that summer, in which Eric talked his fellow houseguests out of backdooring him, resulting in Kail Harbick's surprise eviction instead.) But Eric was also saddled with the show's first-ever America's Player twist, which forced him to make game moves that didn't always align with his own strategy. His inconsistent decisions, paired with a misplaced trust in Dick and Daniele Donato, got him booted from the house sooner than he deserved — and we'd love to see what Eric can do when he's not carrying out the country's wishes.
Big Brother All-Stars Dream Cast Ian Terry
IAN TERRY, BIG BROTHER 14
Who can forget his huge move in orchestrating Mike Boogie's exit? (That goodbye message? Classic.) That alone earned him the win in our book, but Ian, who at 21 became the youngest (U.S.) Big Brother winner ever, was a superfan who came to play. He won four HOH comps, two vetoes and helped kickstart the Quack Pack alliance to keep himself safe. Taking down one BB legend wasn't enough; he then defeated Dan Gheesling in a 6-1 vote for the half-mill. We'd take Ian back on our TV screens in a heartbeat.
Big Brother All-Stars Dream Cast Jason Guy
JASON GUY, BIG BROTHER 3
Danielle Reyes gets lots of credit (and deservedly so) for being one of the best players to never win, but let's not forget Jason's role in her Season 3 claim to fame. Had it not been for their tight relationship, she might not have made it to the end. The duo formed a strong bond early on, allowing them to control the game all the way to the final three. Had Lisa Donahue not won the final HOH, Jason probably would have won the check. Could he get the job done without his number one ally around? We think he'd have a shot.
Big Brother All-Stars Dream Cast Jun Song
JUN SONG, BIG BROTHER 4
Not even the X-Factor twist could've stopped this big personality from steamrolling her competition. After her ex-boyfriend Jee entered the house, Jun did what would be impossible for many players in her position: she aligned with him. With her ex on one side and the villainous Alison on the other, Jun remained loyal(ish) to her alliances, while perfecting what would later become known as the floater strategy (lifevest, not included). It was a stealthy game that paid off in spades; the only votes she received the entire game were ones for her to win.
Big Brother All-Stars Dream Cast Keesha Smith
KEESHA SMITH, BIG BROTHER 10
Keesha's path to the Season 10 grand prize was ultimately, heartbreakingly intercepted by Dan Gheesling and Memphis Garrett's ride-or-die Renegades alliance. (Her tearful realization that Memphis, one of her allies, planned to evict her is still one of the show's most devastating moments.) But up until her Final 4 ouster, Keesha had proven herself to be a solid and loyal competitor, piquing our curiosity about what she could accomplish without the Renegades in her way.
Big Brother All-Stars Dream Cast Kemi Fakunle
KEMI FAKUNLE, BIG BROTHER 21
Big Brother has long done a disservice to its contestants of color, particularly in its most recent season: The summer's first four evictees were all minorities, and houseguests such as Jackson Michie and Jack Matthews targeted Kemi with racist comments. If nothing else, CBS ought to right that wrong by bringing Kemi back for another season — especially when her seemingly shrewd gameplay was cut short for flimsy, arbitrary reasons.
Big Brother All-Stars Dream Cast Lisa Donahue
LISA DONAHUE, BIG BROTHER 3
Besting Jason and Danielle for the BB3 title was huge, but if you ask us, there was one pivotal move that paved Lisa's way to the end: voting against her showmance's return to the house. By playing solo, Lisa minimized the target on her back, allowing her to easily pivot to new allies whenever she felt betrayed. She won two HOHs, including the final one that helped her slide into the final two. Her likeability and social game was bar none one of the best of its time. Could Lisa survive a modern-day BB house? We'd like to find out.
Big Brother All-Stars Dream Cast Nicole Anthony
NICOLE ANTHONY, BIG BROTHER 21
Sure, it may have taken some time for Nicole to prove her strengths as a competitor — but her late-summer HOH and POV victories were the shot in the arm she needed, revealing to us a more confident Nicole who only got more gutsy as the finale neared. Now that she's had a chance to work out the kinks, a self-assured Nicole would be an intriguing, fan-favorite addition to this lineup.
Big Brother All-Stars Dream Cast Shelly Moore
SHELLY MOORE, BIG BROTHER 13
In a season that pitted newbie houseguests against returning power duos, Shelly held her own. Though she connected with some of the other first-timers, she smartly alligned with vets Jeff and Jordan... that is, until she stabbed the showmance in the back by evicting Jeff during a crucial double eviction. (#SorryNotSorry, Jeff and Jordan fans, but it was the right play.) If All-Stars 2 is going to focus on gameplay, which it should, we need players who are willing and able to make big moves.
Big Brother All-Stars Dream Cast Tyler Crispen
TYLER CRISPEN, BIG BROTHER 20
With all due respect to Season 20 champ Kaycee Clark, Tyler was the rightful winner of this excellent season, having played a masterful game in both social strategy and competition wins. Though Tyler's housemates seemed to know he was a huge threat (at least we think they did), he skillfully avoided eviction each week, and was rarely nominated despite his obvious competitive strength. He might be a more recent BB alum, but Tyler is one of the show's best ever, easily earning him a spot on our dream roster.
Big Brother All-Stars Dream Cast Vanessa Rousso
VANESSA ROUSSO, BIG BROTHER 17
Vanessa's loss in Season 17 was a reality TV tragedy. The professional poker player was the queen of weighing odds and placing bets, spending hours alone in the HOH room talking out loud to live feed viewers about possibilities, plays and power moves. With four HOHs and three veto wins under her belt, her blend of comp prowess, strategy and deal-making makes her, without a doubt, one of the best players to never win. If she returned to the show, would she finally secure her legacy or be one of the first sent packing?
Big Brother All-Stars Dream Cast Zach Rance
ZACH RANCE, BIG BROTHER 16
Every great season needs some comedic relief, and casting Zach would certainly add some pizazz to BB22. Known mostly for his flirtmance with Frankie Grande, Zach added a lot of fiery emotion and zaniness to his season. He also wasn't afraid to get all up in the drama, blowing up his Bomb Squad alliance and adding "fruit loop dingus" to the BB lexicon. With his punchy persona and amped up diary room sessions, Zach provides the best entertainment value, bar none.
