Friends Couches - Joey's Yellow Couch
#4. JOEY'S YELLOW COUCH
Comfort: 8/10
Appearance: 7/10
Overall energy: Neutral. Sure, it's the couch upon which Emma was conceived, but it's also where Rachel couldn't stop slapping Joey mid-makeout.
Friends Couches - Phoebe's Grandma's Couch
#5. PHOEBE'S GRANDMA'S COUCH
Comfort: 5/10
Appearance: 5/10
Overall energy: Honestly, terrible. Not only was it the site of Phoebe's infamous smoke alarm massacre, but it was also used to hide some of the surprise guests at Monica's epically disastrous bridal shower.
Friends Couches - Ross 'Pivot!'
#6. ROSS' "PIVOT!" COUCH
Comfort: We'll never know.
Appearance: 4/10
Overall energy: Not great, clearly. The most puzzling part about this couch, which never quite made it up the stairwell, is why Ross even bought something so cheap and ugly in the first place.

Appearance: 9/10
Overall energy: Spectacular. After all, is this not where Joey and Ross discovered the unspeakable comfort of a joint nap?

Comfort: 2/10
Appearance: 1/10
Overall energy: Not very good. The only time we can recall anyone ever sitting on it is when Joey Tribbiani Sr.'s mistress, Ronni the pet mortician, paid Apt. 19 a most unwelcome visit.
Friends Couches - Monica and Rachel's Apartment
#3. MONICA'S COUCH
Comfort: 10/10
Appearance: 8/10
Overall energy: Good, not great. A pregnant Phoebe spent almost the entirety of the gang's London trip lounged out on the plush white sofa, but it's also where Rachel was seated when she found out that childhood dog LaPooh had died after being dragged nine... teen blocks by an ice cream truck.

Comfort: 9/10
Appearance: 9/10
Overall energy: A bit elitist, tbh. I mean, this one group of friends had it reserved for 10 years?!? But otherwise a grade-A sofa, and the source of many a great moment in Friends history.
