Gilmore Girls: 15 Things We Need To See In Netflix's Revival

The news of a Gilmore revival is bittersweet, knowing that the late Edward Herrmann won't reprise his role as Richard Gilmore. But we have no doubt the series will honor its family patriarch with the dignified, classy farewell that Richard (and his portrayer) deserve.

We're getting a stomachache just thinking about all the junk food Rory and Lorelai will consume, but hey, they never did get to watch Sofia dying over and over again.

Last we saw, Sookie and Jackson's kids were just a few years old, and Lane and Zack's twins had just been born. Imagine how cute they've all turned out!(We'd even like to see an adolescent Gigi, but not if it means Christopher hanging around.)

We'd be totally OK if Dave Rygalski made a surprise guest appearance, too.

Did they ever get married? Did Kirk overcome his night terrors? How often does Kirk see his mother these days? There are so many questions we need answered.

Although it won't be the same without Richard at the head of the table, Gilmore Girls without Friday Night Dinner is like Lorelai without a closet full of animal print.

Truth be told, we'd be content if April didn't appear in the limited run — she caused real problems! — but it'd be nice to know what her relationship with Luke is like after all these years.

Considering Jared Padalecki, Matt Czuchry and Milo Ventimiglia are all busy with other gigs, we may not get to see any of Rory's former beaus. But we'll settle for a few lines of dialogue that tell us where each ex-boyfriend ended up. (Something tells us Logan did not react well to that failed marriage proposal.)

May Destiny's Child break up — oops, too late — if we don't at least get a glimpse of Michel in his perfectly tailored suits.

Now that Melissa McCarthy is busy with Mike & Molly (and a successful film career), there's no guarantee that Sookie will make an appearance on the revival. At the very least, we need an update on her latest culinary creations and/or her heated produce arguments with Jackson.

Some of the best GG episodes centered around events like the dance marathon and the Festival of Living Art. We'd gladly partake in another one of Stars Hollow's eccentric parties.

Last we saw this odd couple, Paris was med school-bound and Doyle was willing to follow her wherever she went. So... where did she go? Did they ever get hitched? Have kids? Inquiring minds want to know.

Yes, Lorelai sang karaoke and confessed her undying love for Luke. Yes, they kissed at Rory's goodbye party in the square. But Gilmore GIrls has a lot of catching up to do re: its central couple, and we can't think of a more perfect ending for the pair than a wedding. Preferably on June 3. Under the chuppah. (And you know that Stars Hollow festival we mentioned earlier? Bonus points if Luke proposes during it.)
