Wes
Nobody's been more calm, cool and calculated during Murder Night flash-forwards than The Puppy — and it's not out of the question that his obsession with rescuing Rebecca could lead him to bash in the skull of a dude who poses a threat to her life and her freedom. Plus, it'd be a neat twist if Annalise's comment to Sam about Lila's death — "I bet the boyfriend did it" — turns out to foreshadow both of the show's guilty parties. Odds: 5-1
KATIE FINDLAY
Rebecca
Murder Night flash-forwards have shown her completely covered in Sam's blood splatter. Add to that the fact that she's at the Keating residence in an attempt to sneak incriminating evidence off Sam's computer, and it's not hard to imagine her having an ugly confrontation with the victim. One has to wonder, though, is Rebecca too obvious a suspect? Odds: 2-1

Her confession that she concealed details of Sam's affair with Lila — and that Sam kissed her on the Keatings' front porch — led to her losing her job as Annalise's right-hand woman and left her completely devastated (perhaps enough to contemplate murder). Lurky McChurchmouse has a knack for emerging silently from the shadows — and many fans have speculated that her Murder Night hookup with Asher might be a means of creating an alibi. Odds: 5-2

AJA NAOMI KING
Michaela
Last seen in possession of the Scales of Justice statue that will ultimately be used as the murder weapon — and in an emotional tailspin after a nasty confrontation with her future mother-in-law. Plus, the winter-finale previews show her hiding behind a door that Sam is seemingly attempting to force open. Odds: 4-1

Annalise
If anyone's got motive to bludgeon Sam, it's his oft-lied-to wife. And while we haven't seen Prof. Keating involved in the cleanup and disposal of the Murder Night crime scene/body, it wouldn't be a total shocker if she's somehow conducting the action — either overtly or surreptitiously — like a nefarious puppeteer. Let's not forget, this is a woman who makes a living teaching a class commonly known as "How to Get Away With Murder." Odds: 8-1

BILLY BROWN
Nate
Annalise's erstwhile lover lost his job thanks to his investigation of Sam's whereabouts on the night of Lila's murder. And yes, as an experienced detective, it's not inconceivable that he could sneak into the Keating residence, pull off a homicide, and sneak out undetected. But wouldn't it be counterintuitive for Nate to murder his rival right as he feels he's about to potentially send him to the clink for a long, long time? Odds: 15-1

Connor
With the exception of his nemesis Michaela, Connor's behavior in the wake of Sam's death has been the most unhinged — remember his enthusiasm for hacking up the corpse and his sudden penchant for Christmas carols? Ultimately, though, if Connor was going to make Santa's naughty list, we'd expect him to try to get his hands on Sam's "trophy" (if we're not being too subtle) rather than to use a trophy to cause blunt-force trauma to the middle-aged hottie's cranium. Odds: 20-1

KARLA SOUZA
Laurel
"It's always the quiet ones..." goes the old adage, and Laurel certainly would fit that bill. But despite her relatively calm demeanor during the Murder Night aftermath, we can't really think of a compelling reason that she'd have inflicted the fatal blow (unless we end up with a Murder on the Orient Express-style free-for-all). Odds: 25-1

Frank
Despite being the shadiest member of Team Keating — he's planted false evidence as casually as most of us pick up a pack of gum at the corner store — Frank seems like a long shot to have committed this particular bad act. There's no evidence he was at Annalise's house when Sam's murder went down — and if he's somehow the big "surprise" at the end of the episode, it'll feel like a bit of a cheat, no? Odds: 40-1

Asher
Sure, the other members of the Keating 5 ditched his study group and made fun of him for wanting to attend the Middleton bonfire. But he'd need to have Houdini-like powers to have pulled off Sam's murder, then somehow gotten his law-school rivals to clean up his mess, and then make an appearance on the front porch demanding the return of the trophy that was used as the murder weapon, no? Odds: 50-1
