Charles Esten tells the crowd he knows they're diehards. "I bet you even watched the live concerts. Did you watch the concerts?" he asks. EVERYONE IN THE PLACE GOES INSANE.

Travel hats, Part II — aka Chris Carmack's bid to play Patriots quarterback Tom Brady in the inevitable biopic Ballsbuster: Deflategate 2015.

Lennon Stella rocks out with her TV dad, making me wish — not for the first or last time during the one-hour special — that Maddie could take a lesson or two from her portrayer.

Did not recognize Aubrey Peeples with the light hair at first. Anyone else with me?

And here's the point where I remember once again that Palladio has a British accent in real life. Why do I always forget? 

The Stella sisters take us through their vocal warm-ups, which involve face-squishing.

Esten confesses that his pre-show nervous energy can manifest itself in "a fancy version of pacing. You're like a lion in a cage. You just want to get out there." (Here's where, if he were speaking as Deacon, I'd write something like "Mrrow.")

Esten performs his song, "Whiskey Lips."

Sorry — the germaphobe in me can't focus on anything here except the fact that Esten has his hand in the trash can of a random men's bathroom.

Carmack seems genuinely (and giddily) excited by the sizes of the venues on this tour. "Let's just say that playing for thousands of people is better than playing for dozens of people," he says. (I wouldn't have minded hearing more of his song, "Being Alone," though.)

While promoting their children's book In the Waves at Good Morning America, Maisie refers to her sister Lennon as "Len-Dog." It is ridiculously cute.

Oh, y'know, just being silly with Uncle Deacon.

Brad and Marylynne Stella — Lennon and Maisy's parents — discuss their involvement in their daughters' Nashville career. Fun fact: Marylynne does the girls' hair, makeup and clothes, and the girls often wear items she finds at Goodwill stores, then tailors for the duo.

Brandon Robert Young met Bowen when her management called him and asked him to sing a duet with her. Now he's on tour with her, and they're dating. She calls him her "soulmate," and with good reason: The pair got engaged at the beginning of December. 

Same, woman with sign. Same.

While in Philadelphia, Palladio and Carmack go for a run and wind up on the steps where Rocky raised his arms in victory. If you are at all running-inclined and within the Philly city limits, this is basically required.

"Big crowds of people scare me," Bowen says, citing something she has in common with her alter ego. "Not from the stage, though. I don't know why."

Cheer up, Clare! Your dad is here, "all the way from Australia!" she happily announces.

There's a great moment where Esten and Maisy Stella get pretty goofy in a hallway...

... until Esten realizes his moves are being recorded for posterity.

"Look at the guns on Gunnar!" Esten tells the crowd as Palladio takes a seat behind the drum kit. Don't need to tell us twice, Chip...

"Oh my god, Deacon! I have to call you Deacon. I know your real name," a flummoxed fan in an elevator tells Esten. (She gets a hug in return.)

As the band starts playing the closing number, "A Life That's Good," Esten is feeling...

... this...

...jam.
