'The Voice' Top 11 — Odds Of Winning
The Voice - Season 9
His Top 12 rendition of "Renegade" ranked lowest on iTunes among all of last week's performances — and rightfully so, considering it was as convincing as Sarah Palin stumping for Planned Parenthood (and out of tune, to boot). Note to voters: There are plenty of adorable teens on the Disney Channel — no need to keep Braiden around for your "awww shucks" quotient, K? Odds of winning: 1,000-1
The Voice - Season 9
Struggled mightily with the soaring vocal line of "Titanium" — and Coach Gwen responded by... changing her hair color? Had to sing for her life on Tuesday's results show — and though she survived over Mark Hood, she now has to do the same against much stiffer competition. Odds of winning: 500-1
The Voice - Season 9
His "Brand New Girlfriend" in the Live Playoffs was a hip-swaying delight, but his Top 12 cover of "My Love" exposed severe vocal limitations. The judges may have ignored Zach's inability to stay in tune (not to mention his sluggish delivery), but we doubt he'll be getting the end-of-show pimp slot again this season. Odds of winning: 100-1
The Voice - Season 9
He's covered everything from Switchfoot to Stevie Wonder, from MuteMath to Kenny Loggins, and while there's nothing wrong with showing your diversity, the disparate song choices have also made it tough to figure out what kind of artist Evan wants to be. And yeah, while "This Is It" allowed Evan to prove he can maintain his vocal excellence while moving and grooving on the stage, at the end of the day, it was still "This Is It." (Waahh waahh waahhhhhhh.) Odds of winning: 50-1
The Voice - Season 9
There's no denying the guy's got talent — he rarely hits a bad note and his glory notes are as muscular as Adam Levine's torso. Still Top 12 night cover of "Right Here Waiting" reinforced the cheesy, slightly inauthentic quality that keeps all of Barrett's performances at an emotional arm's length. And alas, that's a tough thing to un-learn. Odds of winning: 25-1
The Voice - Season 9
Her big, booming "In Color" showcased tremendous tone and emotional connectedness — until she got ahead of the band right near the end. That seemed like a forgivable offense in an otherwise terrific performance, but the coaches (who almost never criticize anything anymore) made sure nobody missed the mistake. Is it possible the production doesn't love the idea of a country champ who doesn't hail from Team Blake? Odds of winning: 15-1
The Voice - Season 9
Hit No. 6 on iTunes last week with her feathery cover of "Hotline Bling" — reinforcing her position as Season 9's coolest cat in the process. That said, Amy's live rendition was peppered with breath-control issues, and she'll need to prove she's got heart and charisma to go along with her jazzy arrangements if she wants to survive Dec. 8's "five get eliminated" bloodbath. Odds of winning: 8-1
The Voice - Season 9
Looked slightly uncomfortable while delivering a reggae version of "Who Will Save Your Soul?" — violating the sacred "never let them see you sweat" rule of public performance. Still, she beautifully captured the song's cynical humor — and sounded great doing it. Could be one iTunes breakout away from making a real run at the Season 9 crown. Odds: 6-1
The Voice - Season 9
Her Patty Loveless cover on Top 12 night showcased the kind of lilting upper register and uncompromising glory notes that would make her a genuine threat at country radio. Now, if Blake can find a way to apply the oil can to her Tin Man After a Week of Rainstorms stiffness, there's a chance she could join Cassadee, Danielle and Craig in the franchise's list of twangy triumphs. Odds: 5-1
The Voice - Season 9
Unseated Adele's "Hello" atop the iTunes Top 200 singles chart with his take on the hymn "Great Is Thy Faithfulness" — proving he's got the kind of potent pipes that could make him a force beyond the actual Season 9 proceedings. Still, he's been hyped by NBC even in pre-season promos — leaving us wondering if Jordan could fall into a "peaked too soon" trap. A successful uptempo performance might alleviate such concerns. Odds: 2-1
The Voice - Season 9
Cracked the iTunes Top 10 thanks to a transcendent rendition of James Bay's "Let It Go" (not to be confused with the one from Frozen) — continuing his slow but steady ascent from one-chair turn to a guy who has now been pegged by Blake and Adam as a potential winner. Like Jordan, he still needs to prove his uptempo chops, but unlike that rival, he hasn't been hyped to the point of ridiculousness. Odds: 8-5
