Cobra Kai Final Season: Ralph Macchio Talks Karate Kid Legacy, 'Beauty' Of Daniel And Johnny's Arc — Plus, R.I.P., [Spoiler]!

The following contains spoilers from Cobra Kai Season 6, Part 3!

Nearly seven years later, Cobra Kai is hitting the mat for its final fight ever.

When we check back in with Miyagi-Do in Part 3 (the last five episodes of Season 6 are now available to stream on Netflix), Daniel, Johnny and the rest of the dojo have seemingly moved on after the Sekai Taikai was cancelled due to the shocking death of Cobra Kai student Kwon. A terminally ill Terry Silver, however, can't let sleeping dogs lie. At the top of the final run, he visits tournament host Gunther Braun to argue in favor of continuing the tournament. Braun's answer: The Sekai Taikai can continue if and only if all of the senseis are on board.

While Master Kim prepares for more death and destruction, Daniel is more than ready to leave the drama behind, while Johnny struggles to let go. And Kreese, wracked with guilt over Kwon's death, tells Kim that Cobra Kai will not be returning either. But after a death-defying test drive with Silver at the dealership, Johnny sets up a "business meeting" where Silver confirms his sickness and makes his case for seeing the tournament through.

By the end of Episode 11, Johnny and Daniel reveal to Sam, Miguel and Robby that the tournament is back on. As for Cobra Kai, Kim Da-Eun seizes control of her family's dojo and stops her grandfather's madness... by murdering him with his own version of the five-point-palm exploding heart technique. (He was abusive to Da-Eun for years and called for the death of another teen. All things considered: Kick rocks, Master Kim!)

While we won't yet spoil what happens in the subsequent four episodes (stay tuned to TVLine for more Cobra Kai coverage throughout the rest of the week), we spoke to series star Ralph Macchio ahead of Part 3's release to discuss his feelings about the series ending, in addition to Daniel and Johnny's blossoming friendship.

"Truthfully I'm feeling great," Macchio tells TVLine about finally landing the Cobra Kai plane. "When I watched these last episodes — certainly the final three episodes — I would say I felt [like I was] back in the theater with the popcorn, the feels, the tears, the cheers, the 'F yeah!' moments, the fulfillment for LaRusso, even though he wasn't on the mat... It felt like the themes of The Karate Kid were brought forward."
