Outlander's Sam Heughan, Caitríona Balfe Tee Up The Frasers' Bittersweet Return To Lallybroch In Season 7, Part 2 Premiere — Watch

The poet Robert Frost wrote: "Home is the place where, when you have to go there/ they have to take you in." Unfortunately for Outlander's Jamie Fraser, Frost didn't say anything about getting back into Jenny Fraser Murray's good graces once you get there.

When Outlander resumes Season 7 on Friday (Starz, 8/7c), Jamie — along with Claire and Young Ian — will return to his native Scotland for the first time in years. Young Ian is now a very different person, both inside and out, from when he joined his uncle and auntie on their travels years ago. So when Jamie walks his nephew up to the family home (which you can catch a sneak peek of here), no one — most of all Big Red himself — knows exactly how it'll go.

"Jamie has got a lot of anticipation," Sam Heughan said when he and Caitríona Balfe recently sat down with TVLine. "He hasn't seen his sister, in particular, for a long time, and he made a promise to her a long time ago to bring Young Ian back." Still, "there's this excitement, and I think it's something that we actually shared, as well, as actors," he said. "It's like, 'Oh, it's so nice to be back there. It's home.'"

As previously reported, this season, Kristin Atherton (Doctors) will take over the role of Jenny, which was originally played by Laura Donnelly.

Balfe noted that, even though Claire and Jenny have some unfinished business to work through, "obviously, it's a lot more complicated for Jamie. This is his home, this is his sister. And as his wife, [Claire] feels all that for him, but she's also excited. There's a deep love between her and Jenny, even though there's been some complications."
