Bridgerton Has Wrapped Production On Season 4 — When Will It Be Released?
Grab a hot cup of Earl Grey and settle in for another riveting season of love. With Bridgerton Season 4 in the works, we're keeping you up to date on all the new intel trickling in.
Based on Julia Quinn's bestselling book series, the Netflix drama centers on the formidable Bridgerton family as they navigate London high society amid their pursuit of romance during the Regency Era.
Season 3 found Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) in a friends-to-lovers arc with neighbor Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan), who'd harbored a crush on him for years. When rival Cressida Cowper (Jessica Madsen) tried to blackmail the newlyweds over Penelope's Lady Whistledown alias, the third-born Featherington outed herself at her family's ball; she and Colin went on to have a son.
Season 2, meanwhile, focused on Anthony's (Jonathan Bailey) fiery romance with Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley), while Season 1 detailed eldest daughter Daphne's (Phoebe Dynevor) tumultuous love affair with Simon Basset (Regé-Jean Page), the Duke of Hastings and one of the town's most eligible bachelors.

6. Who will be the focus of Bridgerton Season 4?
The eight-episode Season 4 centers on Benedict (played by Luke Thompson), the bohemian second son in the Bridgerton family, and a mysterious Lady in Silver.
"Despite his elder and younger brothers both being happily married, Benedict is loath to settle down — until he meets a captivating woman at his mother's masquerade ball," per the official logline. Though her identity is not at first known to Benedict, the woman turns out to be Sophie Baek, a secretive maid with big dreams.
5. Who is playing Benedict's love interest?
Halo's Yerin Ha portrays the Lady in Silver, aka Sophie Beckett, in Season 4.
In An Offer from a Gentleman, the third installment in Julia Quinn's book series, Sophie is the orphaned, illegitimate daughter of the Earl of Penwood forced to work for her intolerable stepmother. She captures Benedict's heart after first meeting him at his mother's masquerade ball.
Ha's additional credits include Prime Video's Troppo, ABC's Reef Break and HBO's Dune: Prophecy.
4. Who is returning for Bridgerton Season 4?
While the new episodes will focus on the love story between Luke Thompson's Benedict and Yerin Ha's Sophie, viewers can expect to see most of the Bridgerton family resurface at some point in Season 4, including Jonathan Bailey (Anthony), Simone Ashley (Kate), Ruth Gemmell (Violet), Florence Hunt (Hyacinth), Claudia Jessie (Eloise), Luke Newton (Colin), Nicola Coughlin (Penelope) and Will Tilston (Gregory).
Other returnees include Polly Walker (Portia Featherington), Victor Alli (John Stirling), Adjoa Andoh (Lady Danbury), Lorraine Ashbourne (Mrs. Varley), Masali Baduza (Michaela Stirling), Hannah Dodd (Francesca Stirling), Daniel Francis (Lord Marcus Anderson), Martins Imhangbe (Will Mondrich) and Golda Rosheuvel (Queen Charlotte). Plus, Emma Naomi (Alice Mondrich) and Hugh Sachs (Brimsley) have been upgraded to series regulars, and Julie Andrews will continue voicing Lady Whistledown.
3. Who is joining Bridgerton Season 4?
As previously reported, Katie Leung (the Harry Potter franchise, The Peripheral) joins as Lady Araminta Gun. "Twice married and twice widowed, Araminta has two girls debuting on the marriage mart this season and is feeling the pressure to get at least one of them married off," reads the character's official description. "Fabulous, discerning and blunt, Araminta does not respond well when anything — or anyone — threatens her standing in society."
Other Season 4 additions include Michelle Mao (Goosebumps) and Isabella Wei (The Crow). Mao portrays Rosamund Li, Araminta's eldest daughter and most prized possession. Described as "beautiful, vain and eager to please her mother, Rosamund sets her sights on Benedict Bridgerton this season and is determined to get what she wants."
Wei, meanwhile, plays Posy Li, Rosamund's younger sister. "Her mother rarely puts the spotlight on Posy, as her chatty, overly friendly demeanor often has her putting her foot in her mouth."
