Emmys 2023: The 15 Biggest Snubs

Now that we've established which shows and stars were lucky enough to score 2023 Emmy nominations this morning, it's time to talk about those who weren't quite so fortunate.

That's right, it's our annual list of Emmy snubs, which frankly becomes more difficult to compile with each passing year. Streamers' insistence on churning out more projects than any human being could possibly consume — each with astronomical budgets and A-list casts — has rendered the word "prestige" utterly meaningless.

There's more award-worthy work happening on television than ever before, and these categories would include twice the number of nominees in a perfect world. But this isn't a perfect world, so we're left with snubs.

As always, keep in mind that whining about these snubs don't mean we aren't thrilled with many of this year's nominees. We're particularly excited that Rhea Sheehorn got a nod for Better Call Saul, and that both Jason Segel and Jessica Williams were recognized for Shrinking. We're also over the moon about the nods for Swarm's Dominique Fishback and The Diplomat's Keri Russell.

Heck, we'd send congratulatory flowers to all of their houses if we knew where they lived. Maybe it's better we don't.
