WHO: Judges Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel and Mel B, plus host Terry Crews

WHAT: A new spinoff that will see each judge draft their ultimate lineup of winners, finalists, viral sensations and fan favorites from AGT and Got Talent franchises around the world, all pre-selected by America in an initial vote. The judges will be competing alongside the contestants and will mentor and guide the acts throughout the competition with the hopes of earning bragging rights and seeing an act from their team crowned the champion of AGT: Fantasy League.

WHAT: A 10-part event series, featuring music by two-time Oscar winner Hans Zimmer, the project will employ revolutionary filmmaking technology that will showcase the wonders, secrets and fragilities of the Americas – Earth's largest landmass and the only one to stretch between both poles – and reveal extraordinary, untold wildlife stories that deeply connect with millions around the world.

WHAT: The game show unites six teams of four deep-rooted friends, who met at various stages of their lives, at a stunning lakeside location for a nostalgic adult summer camp adventure. "Ride or dies" get the chance to play "buddy games" where they will relive their glory days and compete in an assortment of absurd physical and mental challenges in the outdoors while bunking together in the same lake house. Friendships will be rekindled, and rivalries reignited, when these friends are challenged to prove which bonds are strong enough to withstand the competition. The last buddy team standing will be crowned champion and take home a cash prize, plus the coveted Buddy Games trophy, and of course bragging rights.

WHAT: The Canadian comedy follows Astrid and James as they raise their two young children in the city, while struggling to hold onto their pre-kid life. Illustrating the hilarious and varied ways kids can wreck happiness, alter plans, annihilate goals and dreams, and force parents to re-invent their lives, the series also explores how maybe that re-invented life is somewhat okay, too. Nowhere near as good as that old, really great life. But still kind of nice.

WHAT: A true-crime and justice anthology series that thrusts viewers into the gripping world of real-life mysteries, cold cases and heart-stopping investigations. Each two-hour episode will delve deep into a riveting true crime sensation that has captured the attention of the nation including the Delphi murders, the Lori Vallow Daybell case, the Gabby Petito murder and the Gilgo Beach murders. Each episode will reveal new details about these stories through expert analysis, exclusive reporting and never before seen interviews.

WHO: Host Joe Manganiello

WHAT: This new format transports 13 players to the elusive Banker's private island to compete for cash in a season-long, fully immersive competition. The iconic briefcases are back and are hidden on the island with millions in prize money split between them. In each episode, players vie to get their hands on the highest-value briefcase for a chance to gain immunity and choose a fellow player to enter "The Temple," where they must play a high-stakes game of Deal or No Deal. The devious Banker is always watching and will raise the stakes with tests of strategy and greed. At the end of the season, the last player standing will face the Banker to potentially win the biggest prize in Deal or No Deal history. Manganiello will guide the players, leading the game play, relaying the banker's tempting offers and helping them through the toughest decisions of their lives.

After a brain injury erases the last eight years of her life, Amy must navigate an unfamiliar world where she has no recollection of patients she's treated, colleagues she's crossed, the soulmate she divorced, the man she now loves and the tragedy that caused her to push everyone away. She can rely only on her estranged 17-year-old daughter, whom she remembers as a 9-year-old, and a handful of devoted friends, as she struggles to continue practicing medicine, despite having lost nearly a decade of knowledge and experience.

And anxious 17-year-old Rachel is about to fall for someone who could save her social life, but also damn her soul.

WHAT: Centers on former marrieds Jim (Cryer) and Julia (Spencer). After an amicable divorce, the exes "decide to continue to raise their kids at the family home while taking turns on who gets to stay with them. Navigating the waters of divorce and child-sharing gets more complicated for Jim when the owner of his favorite sports team (Faison) enters the picture and wins Julia's heart."

WHAT: In the gender-flipped spinoff of FBoy Island (which The CW will also air this fall, after acquiring it from HBO Max), three men try to determine whether 24 women are womanizers, aka "FGirls," or are seeking a serious relationship, aka "Nice Girls."

WHAT: Full of unexpected surprises, the game show is based on the Latin game of chance popularly known now as Lotería. Landing on one of the "Loca Cards" creates a twist in the game and gives players the opportunity to bank even more cash by competing in wild, interactive challenges. The player who gets the most "Loterías" on their board the fastest, moves on to the dramatic final round for a chance to win the ultimate show cash prize.

Through all the challenges and stresses of everyday suburban life, the Phams take on the world as a cohesive unit.

WHO: Host David Spade

WHAT: In the game show, contestants are pitched unique products by convincing entrepreneurs – some of whom are showcasing real business ventures, while the others are "Snake Oil Salesmen," whose products are fake. With the help of guest celebrity advisors, contestants must determine which products are real and which are a sham, for a chance to win life-changing money. In each round, contestants choose a pair of entrepreneurs and learn about their extremely unique (and often bizarre) products through visuals, a custom-made infomercial exclusively produced for Snake Oil, and by quizzing the business representative themselves. With the help of their celebrity advisors, the contestants must then decide who is selling an authentic product and who is hawking a sham. Will they make the right choice or be duped by snake oil?!

Looking to distance herself from the fallout, Maggie decides to leave Boston and return to her childhood home of Sullivan's Crossing, a rustic and remote campground set against the stunning coastline still run by her estranged father, Sully Sullivan (Patterson). There, Maggie rekindles old friendships and builds new ones with the local residents, including a handsome newcomer, Cal Jones (Murray), who only serves to complicate her life further. As Maggie works on clearing her name and reputation, she is forced to confront her painful past, as she attempts to reconnect with a side of herself she had long forgotten.

WHAT: Revolves around survivalist Colter Shaw (Hartley), who roams the country as a "reward seeker" and uses his tracking skills to solve mysteries as he contends with his own fractured family.

WHO: Hosts Anthony Anderson and his mother Doris Bowman

WHAT: Showcasing non-famous relatives of celebrities performing duets with their hidden famous family member, the music-centric game show will feature a studio audience entirely comprised of 100 contestants playing through multiple rounds of clues and gameplay to win up to $100,000 each by correctly guessing which celebrity the performer is related to before they are revealed. Celebrities appearing on We Are Family will range from musicians and professional athletes to actors and beyond.

This May/Upfront time of year may feel different with the current writers' strike, but the broadcast networks continue to move ahead with their 2023-24 TV season plans.

CBS and NBC have already announced their schedules for the upcoming season, and the rest of the networks — ABC, Fox and The CW — are scheduled to unveil their slates at their annual Upfront presentations the week of May 15.

Viewers can expect to (eventually) see The Good Wife's Carrie Preston back on the small screen as fan fave Elsbeth Tasconi, while Kathy Bates will make her debut as Matlock. Meanwhile, The Flash alum Jesse L. Martin and This Is Us vet Justin Hartley will make the move to NBC and CBS, respectively, for their new dramas. The 2023-24 season will also welcome back Jon Cryer, Donald Faison, Damon Wayans and Damon Wayans Jr. in fresh comedies.

Of course, whether these series will actually be back in production to premiere this fall remains to be seen. But one network will have a couple "new" shows on the air later this year: The CW has acquired a pair of Canadian imports, starring familiar TV faces like Lea Thompson and Chad Michael Murray.
