Quotes Of The Week: Happy Endings, Drag Race, Blindspot, Stargirl And More

Another surreal week in 2020, another unexpected and delightful reunion of a long-gone TV show.

Just as our last Quotes of the Week compilation featured scenes from 30 Rock's reunion and the second Psych movie, our latest collection of bon mots includes two memorable moments from Happy Endings' recent charity episode.

But the list below also contains other ah-mah-zing sound bites, such as a Stargirl foe's forgettable nickname, an Alienist autopsy that's more complicated than it needs to be, a pop culture reference gone awry on Black Monday and an exchange on The Oval that we almost can't believe really happened. (Almost.)

Also featured in this week's roundup: double doses of Blindspot (read finale post mortem) and Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (read post mortem).

Scroll through the list below to see all of our picks for the week, then hit the comments and tell us if we missed any of your faves!

HAPPY ENDINGS SPECIAL CHARITY EVENT

"I am so high! I'm seeing Jane as a monster — exactly like when Charlize played that monster in the movie Bombshell."

Max (Adam Pally) sees Jane as more of a Megyn Kelly-type monster than an Aileen Wuornos-type monster

HAPPY ENDINGS SPECIAL CHARITY EVENT (Bonus Quote!)

"You're a hunky gay/chunky gay depending on your salt intake."

"You do yo-yo between both Mark Ruffalos in that HBO show nobody's watching."

Penny (Casey Wilson) and Dave (Zachary Knighton) know this much is true about Max's physique

RUPAUL'S DRAG RACE ALL STARS 5

"Am I flexible? Well, I mean, if you call me at six o'clock and I need to be there at seven, I'll be there at seven. But are my muscles flexible? No."

Jujubee knows her strengths — and they don't include dancing

BLINDSPOT

"Hey. You should see this."

"Uh, excuse me, that's not our problem anymore. My friend and I here are about to spin off into a grand series of primetime adventures that you really must see..."

Rich Dotcom (Ennis Esmer) can't be bothered with FBI business now that he and Patterson might get their own show international expedition

BLINDSPOT (Bonus Quote!)

"I'm gonna miss this. This could very well be the last time we ever triangulate a cell signal!"

Rich (Ennis Esmer) gets sentimental as his time in the lab with Patterson comes to an end

THE ALIENIST: ANGEL OF DARKNESS

"What we hypothesize was a toxic causality."

"What my brother means is: We guess poison."

Lucius (Matthew Shear) and Marcus (Douglas Smith) may be brothers, but only one of them is a big fan of science jargon

DC'S STARGIRL

"Stargirl..."

"Snap... Dragon."

"Dragon King!"

Maybe the JSA and ISA should try name tags for a bit?

MARVEL'S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.

"That was nice.... Now we need to trap the space robot."

Daisy (Chloe Bennet) and Sousa (Enver Gjokaj) steal a kiss before (probably) dying

MARVEL'S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. (Bonus Quote!)

"The time drive is stuck.... I think of it like a record skipping. [off Daisy's puzzlement] Every time I say that, you give me the same look. Vinyl's back!"

Coulson (Clark Gregg) waxes nostalgic

BLACK MONDAY

"So, what? We're supposed to just trust each other — not to mention you — after everything?"

"We have f—ked each other more than the Mamas and the Papas. [off everyone's confused looks] They're a famously incestuous band."

"Never heard of 'em."

"I'm more of a Wham! guy."

"I'm more of a Black guy."

Blair (Andrew Rannells) makes a pop culture reference that doesn't quite land the way he'd hoped

THE OVAL

"Is that all, ma'am?"

"Is that all you can take, sir?"

"Ma'am, I'm a former Ranger. I can take a lot."

"That's what they tell me, honey."

This show is honestly at its best when Kyle (Brad Benedict) and Victoria (Kron Moore) just stand around the White House whispering subtle gay innuendos to one another

YELLOWSTONE

"You are the trailer park... I am the tornado."

Yeah, no, Roarke doesn't intimidate Beth (Kelly Reilly) — like, at all
