SNL Season 47: TVLine Readers Rank Every Episode, From Worst To Best

Each weekend, we here at TVLine highlight the best (and sometimes worst) of what Saturday Night Live has to offer, before turning it over to you, our loyal readers, to weigh in on each episode.

With Season 47 now behind us, marking the end of the road for Aidy Bryant, Pete Davidson, Kate McKinnon and Kyle Mooney, we're revisiting how 20 (of the last 21) installments — featuring hosts Benedict Cumberbatch, Kim Kardashian West, Jerrod Carmichael, Selena Gomez and Natasha Lyonne, among others — fared, based on the average grade that you gave them.

Just how well did former cast members Jason Sudeikis and Will Forte fare for their inaugural hosting stints? What about Billie Eilish and Lizzo, both of whom pulled double duty as host and musical guest? Or the always reliable John Mulaney, who was inducted into the Five-Timers' Club?

Note: Due to the unprecedented nature of the Dec. 18 episode hosted by Paul Rudd, which featured several pre-taped digital shorts and an assortment of previously aired sketches after a reported COVID outbreak at Studio 8H, we have decided not to include it in the Season 47 ranking.

Scroll down to see how TVLiners ultimately ranked each SNL Season 47 episode, then hit the comments and tell us if you're surprised by any of the results.
