Stranger Things' Season 5 First-Look Photos Hint At A Whole Lotta Badassery In Linda Hamilton's Future

Along with the eye-popping trailer for Season 5 of Stranger Things that Netflix dropped Wednesday, the streamer also released a dozen spoileriffic first-look photos. The most revealing one of all? For our money, it's the shot of Terminator badass Linda Hamilton rocking a hairdo that calls to mind Young Sheldon's Meemaw and a gun that her Dr. Kay looks altogether unafraid to use.

Following production delays of nearly a year owing to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, the final season of Stranger Things will at last premiere its first four episodes on November 26, its middle three on Christmas Day and the epic last episode on New Year's Eve. If you'll recall, the Season 4 finale left our friends in Hawkins, Ind., in dire straits. The nefarious Vecna had turned their beleaguered hometown, ahem, Upside Down.

Obviously, in Season 5, Eleven & Co. will do their damnedest to eliminate the threat that he poses once and for all. If along the way, they could also find a way to bring poor Max fully back to the land of the living, that would be an excellent bonus. But we digress.
