Survivor 49 Cast Includes A Former Marvel Producer, Rocket Scientist, Financial Crime Consultant And More — View Photos

Eighteen new castaways are about to hit the islands of Fiji in an attempt to Outwit, Outplay and Outlast the rest — and we finally have intel on who will be competing in Survivor's 49th season.

The competition series returns to CBS (and Paramount+) with a two-hour premiere Wednesday, Sept. 24 at 8/7c, continuing with 90-minute episodes every Wednesday beginning Oct. 1.

The fresh batch of players includes a former Marvel producer (Nate Moore), a financial crime consultant, a wellness specialist and a literal rocket scientist. (No, country musician Dierks Bentley is not a part of this season's cast — watch the embedded video above for more.) And don't forget — two of these players will be competing in Survivor's landmark 50th season titled In the Hands of the Fans, which is set to premiere early next year. Those castaways' identities will be revealed at a later date.

The full cast of Season 50 was announced back in May and includes White Lotus boss Mike White, former winners Dee Valladares and Kyle Fraser, and legendary fan favorites Cirie Fields and Ozzy Lusth. (View that full cast here.)
