Logan once again shows up for Veronica when it matters and pulls her back from doing something she'll regret in the Season 2 ender. "You are not a killer, Veronica. Give me the gun," he pleads as Veronica points the weapon at murderer/rapist Cassidy. We shudder to think what would have happened if he hadn't shown up.

Season 3, Episode 4, "Charlie Don't Surf"
As if listening to Logan recount to his brother Charlie Stone (guest star Matt Czuchry) how Aaron tormented and abused him wasn't crushing enough, Logan discovers shortly thereafter that "Charlie" is actually a reporter. (Sadly, Logan and his real bro, played by New Amsterdam's Ryan Eggold, never met.)

Season 3, Episode 8, "Lord of the Pi's"
This might surprise you, but Veronica and Logan don't actually verbally declare their love for each other very often, which makes this moment all the more significant. After her latest rape case puts Veronica in danger, Logan secretly hires someone to protect her, leading to a huge blowout. "I love you. Do you love me?" he asks mid-argument. She says she does, but that doesn't make the fight any less painful.

Season 3, Episode 20, "The Bitch Is Back"
Never one to shy away from a physical altercation, Logan beats up Gory, knowing full well that the guy who released a tape of Veronica and Piz fooling around is connected. "Whoever you are, you're gonna die," Gory declares. "Yeah, someday," Logan replies with a twisted smile.
