WandaVision: 10 Burning Questions We Have After Watching The Finale

(Warning: This post contains spoilers from WandaVision's finale. Read at your own risk!)

That's a wrap on WandaVision! The series, which explored grief and trauma through its titular heroine, closed the book on Westview with a stacked finale that saw Wanda finally setting the townsfolk free by bringing the Hex down — but not before defeating Agatha and absorbing all of her magic.

The power move sets up her journey into Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (which will be released in March 2022), and will likely find her taking up the Scarlet Witch mantle given the events of the finale. A post-credits scene teased Wanda embracing her alternate persona, with the super-charged witch retreating to a secluded cabin in the mountains. While she makes tea, her Scarlet Witch alter ego is seen intently studying the Darkhold in the bedroom as the voices of her children cry out for help in her head.

With the final episode in the books, many of our looming questions were answered, like Agatha's endgame to absorb Wanda's powers. Plus, the finale tackled two questions in one with the reveal that fake Pietro is actually just some random guy named Ralph Bohner — the same Ralph that Agatha kept referring to as her husband throughout the series — who had fallen under Agatha's mind control.

Although the series resolved most of its teased storylines, a few questions still remain as Wanda heads into Multiverse of Madness, like what's up with White Vision and what happens to Agatha now that the Hex is down?

Check out all the burning questions we still have after watching the finale, and then leave a comment with the loose ends still weighing on your mind.

10. Where did White Vision suddenly fly off to?

After an intense battle with Wanda's Vision (followed by an extremely logical conversation on who is the real Vision), White Vision's memories are fully restored, suggesting that he's back to his normal synthezoid self. Why, then, does he immediately fly off instead of going straight to Wanda, especially after firmly declaring, "I am Vision?" If he remembers her, wouldn't his first instinct be to see her?

9. How was he able to fly off with no intervention or acknowledgement from S.W.O.R.D.?

I get that they were busy trying to enter the Hex and stop Wanda, but someone had to have been tracking White Vision's movements to ensure that he followed through with his assignment. How were they not alarmed when he straight up abandoned the mission? Especially since he's their billion-dollar weapon?

8. Why did Hayward shoot at actual children?

We knew Hayward was an evildoer who secretly rebuilt Vision as his super-powered weapon because he views the formerly deceased Avenger as a thing and not a person, but this was straight up evil. Was his justification for shooting at Tommy and Billy that they're not real, since they were created in Wanda's alternate reality? Does he not view beings with power as people? Or is he so singularly focused on his mission that he'll do anything to complete it, even if that means shooting at children with no remorse?

7. What happened to Agatha after the Hex was taken down?

Westview returned to its normal, decrepit state once the Hex came down, so what does that mean for Agatha? Does she get to keep her vivacious sitcom persona in this drab real world? And won't she stand out amid this town of normal people? And will Wanda's mind control even stick?

6. Whatever happened to the beekeeper?

Remember the S.W.O.R.D. operative who entered the Hex through an underground tunnel and was subsequently turned into a beekeeper? Wanda "rewound" him and we never saw him again after that. Is he OK? Did S.W.O.R.D. follow up on him? What happened to this guy?!

5. Why did Vision choose Westview in the first place?

He and Wanda could have built a home anywhere in the world but for some reason, he settled on this rundown town where everyone looks so sad. Why would he want to live there? Surely, there are other low-key spots with a better vibe. Perhaps Nashville?

4. Why wasn’t Darcy in that first bonus scene?

Was Kat Dennings not available to appear? Monica explains that Darcy dipped because "debriefs are for the weak," but she could have easily dropped by for one more quip after reaming Hayward with that funnel cake truck.

3. What’s up with Monica and the Skrull?

Did their conversation in the theater leave one too many blanks to be filled for the casual viewer? Sure, if you saw Captain Marvel and Spider-Man: Far From Home, you knew exactly what was going on. But if you missed either or both of those movies, the weight of the moment (Who is "he"? What is "up"?) was possibly lost on you. Given that WandaVision is a standalone where you (mostly) don't need previous MCU knowledge to understand the story, this expository nod to Monica's upcoming appearance in Captain Marvel 2 seems unnecessary.

2. Where was Doctor Strange?

We know WandaVision tees up the Multiverse of Madness — we've only said it a million times — and he was name-dropped in the finale, which felt like the perfect moment for an appearance by the Sorcerer Supreme. So what happened? Was Benedict Cumberbatch not available? Was Stephen Strange out getting ice cream? The show definitely didn't need him — and the ending is beautiful regardless — but that would have been a nice moment for him to show up.

1. Ralph Bohner???

No real question here. I just like typing the name out.
