Big Brother: Former Houseguests Brendon Villegas, Janelle Pierzina, Evel Dick And More React To That Explosive Elimination

Fan outrage has caught fire in the Big Brother community, and a lot of that heat is coming directly from former houseguests.

In Tuesday's episode, Rachel Reilly, a franchise fan favorite and the winner of BB13, was shockingly "sacrificed" from the game after the White Locust twist revived a comp similar to something we saw in 2023's Big Brother: Reindeer Games. By the end of the hour, Rachel, who was unequivocally the season's biggest star, was eliminated — not evicted! — from the house without a vote, veto or Blockbuster to save her. (Read more in our recent live feeds update.) Needless to say, the reaction from the online community, including those who have played the game before, has been spicy.

"I don't think production could have fumbled this one harder if they had tried," Rachel's husband Brendon Villegas said in a statement on X. "I commend my wife for not having touched the nomination block once in this season. Which is insane, given that she was a returning winner... I will not be surprised when the ratings start tanking because you removed the heart of your season."

Janelle Pierzina, who competed in Seasons 6, 7, 14 and 22, posted a screenshot of her cancelled Paramount+ Premium account.

"Cancel the whole f–king show!" she wrote on X. "No one cares about anyone else winning. Rachel is BIG BROTHER. I'm disgusted. A bunch of furniture left in the game and one of them can't even f–king talk. What in the actual fk? She came back because she loves and respects the game. The game wasn't broken! Why meddle? So many players this season had three opportunities for safety. HOH, Veto and BlockBuster. Not to mention they get to campaign. Big Brother 27 didn't deserve Rachel."

BB8 winner Evel Dick Donato (who also played briefly with Rachel in Season 13) posted on Threads, alongside a sticker that read: "This is f–king bulls–t."

"Almost everyone has had the chance to save themselves 3x this season. Veto, Blockbuster, eviction vote (where they can sway the vote)," he wrote. "Now there is an eviction by twist... No vote, no Blockbuster, no veto. It really is very unfair, regardless who it was. Now I feel bad for Rachel."

He elaborated on X, adding, "For as much manipulation as production [has] done this season, Rachel getting the boot making her first person on jury in a game twist, has to be one of the stupidest things ever."

Ragan Fox, who played in Season 12 with Rachel, had a lot to say on Instagram about his former castmate's untimely exit from the BB house.

"In a fit of cookie-induced rage, I once called @rachelereillyvillegas a 'red-headed parrot from hell,'" he wrote. "But she's really the mythical phoenix, the storied bird that rises from the ash. I'm hoping against hope that some twist will yank her from the fires of her 'sacrifice,' whatever 'sacrifice' means this season, and let her properly finish her game. There's a reason so many of us — even her once-sworn enemies — have rooted for her during her return. At her core, Rachel is kind, forgiving, hilarious and a lot of fun. But she also understands the assignment and knows how to light up a season. She brings so much joy and energy to the game. It blows my mind that, in eight weeks, nobody put a former winner on the block. That achievement shows how much she's evolved as a person and social gamer. Rachel for AF houseguest!"

Season 4 winner Jun Song chimed in on X, keeping her reaction short and sweet. "Stupid twists nobody ever asks for. For shame. Sigh."

Season 15 winner Andy Herron really loose on X, writing: "I'm gobsmacked. Rachel came back after 14 years. She was playing the best game she's ever played. She made it to jury without ever touching the block. She was the FRONTRUNNER. Gone. No eviction vote. No Blockbuster. No exit interview. Due to a twist. F–k this awful show."

Season 19 winner Josh Martinez got a little saucy on X writing, "Cancel the whole f–king thing #bb27."

BB25's Cory Wurtenberger wrote on X: "It's genuinely so sad how my favorite show goes so far out of its way every single year to make itself worse and worse. They had such a good season on their hands and just actively decided to play roulette with it."

Season 10's Michelle Costa commented: "There better be a battle back! Rachel deserves better than this bull."
