Get ready to deck the halls with designer fashion: Emily in Paris is returning this December.
Netflix announced on Wednesday that all 10 episodes of Emily in Paris Season 5 will stream on Thursday, Dec. 18. Plus, the series has a new backdrop: Venice, Italy.
In Season 5, as the head of Agence Grateau's Rome office, "Emily (played by Lily Collins) faces professional and romantic challenges as she adapts to life in a new city," per the official synopsis. "But just as everything falls into place, a work idea backfires, and the fallout cascades into heartbreak and career setbacks. Seeking stability, Emily leans into her French lifestyle, until a big secret threatens one of her closest relationships. Tackling conflict with honesty, Emily emerges with deeper connections, renewed clarity and a readiness to embrace new possibilities."
In addition to Collins, the Emily in Paris Season 5 cast includes Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu (Sylvie Grateau), Ashley Park (Mindy Chen), Lucas Bravo (Gabriel), Samuel Arnold (Julien), Bruno Gouery (Luc), William Abadie (Antoine Lambert), Lucien Laviscount (Alfie), Eugenio Franceschini (Marcello), Thalia Besson (Genevieve), Paul Forman (Nico), Arnaud Binard (Laurent G), Minnie Driver (Princess Jane), Bryan Greenberg (Jake) and Michèle Laroque (Yvette).
In case you need a refresher, Season 4 saw Emily embark on a romantic vacation with Marcello in Rome. Sylvie ended up crashing the trip, determined to turn Emily's personal getaway into a professional win by landing Marcello's family's business as a client. Though Emily first told Marcello she was in Italy for him, not work, Marcello's mother was ultimately won over by Emily's vision for her company — and insisted that Emily run the account, with Sylvie putting Emily in charge of the business in Rome.
