Fallout Season 2 Gets December Premiere Date And Trailer; Episodes Will Roll Out Weekly
It won't be long now: Prime Video has announced that Fallout Season 2 will premiere Dec. 17.
What's more, the streamer has confirmed that the eight-episode season will roll out weekly, with new episodes every Wednesday, culminating in a Feb. 4, 2026 finale. Watch the first teaser trailer above.
Based on the popular video game series, Fallout is set two hundred years after a nuclear apocalypse and follows survivors as they emerge from their fallout shelters and "discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird, and highly violent universe waiting for them," according to the official logline.
Ella Purnell stars as survivor Lucy, with Walton Goggins as bounty hunter The Ghoul. Season 1 became one of Prime Video's top three most-watched titles ever and garnered 16 Emmy nominations — including a nod for Best Drama Series.
As previously reported, Fallout Season 2 has cast Macaulay Culkin. He'll recur as "a crazy, genius-type character." Along with Purnell and Goggins, the cast includes Aaron Moten, Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias and Frances Turner.

According to Amazon, new episodes "will take audiences along for a journey through the wasteland of the Mojave to the post-apocalyptic city of New Vegas."
The show has already been renewed for Season 3.
