Jessica Capshaw Shares First Photo From Grey's Anatomy Return

Jessica Capshaw is officially back in the Grey's Anatomy operating room, as evidenced by a new photo Capshaw has shared from her forthcoming guest stint.

The actress shared a selfie from the Grey's set on Instagram Tuesday, in which she's donning surgical garb as Dr. Arizona Robbins. Her caption, meanwhile, appears to confirm that Arizona will return in the April 4 episode.

Longtime Grey's fans will appreciate the cheeky comment Hilarie Burton left on the photo: "Girl. Meet you in the break room!" Burton previously appeared in three Season 9 episodes as Dr. Lauren Boswell, a craniofacial surgeon with whom Capshaw's character had a one-night stand.

Capshaw's return as Arizona was first announced on Feb. 10, nearly six years after she departed the medical drama at the end of Season 14. As previously reported, Alex Landi will also be back in Season 20 as Schmitt's ex, Nico Kim.

In addition to Capshaw and Landi, the new episodes will welcome Natalie Morales (Dead to Me) as pediatric surgeon Monica Beltran, and Freddy Miyares (DMZ) as Grey Sloan patient Dorian.

Grey's Anatomy returns for Season 20 on Thursday, March 14, at 9/8c on ABC. Are you looking forward to (briefly) having Capshaw back?
