Nobody Wants This Season 2 Trailer Asks: Is Joanne And Noah's Interfaith Relationship Doomed? Plus, Leighton Meester Makes Her Debut
The honeymoon phase is over for Joanne and Noah in the trailer for Nobody Wants This Season 2 — and as Morgan reminds her sister, that's when you find out if a relationship can actually last.
The Netflix rom-com's sophomore run finds the agnostic podcast host and "hot rabbi" trying to blend their lives. New footage shows their closest friends gathered for a party at Noah's house, as well as Joanne attending Shabbat dinner with his family.
Alas, our beloved couple still hasn't discussed how their interfaith relationship will work long term — or what it'd mean to raise kids Jewish. (No Santa?!?)
"Part of being in a relationship is dealing with these issues — and we will," Noah assures Joanne. Still, he's the one to wonder: "Are we doomed?"
Nobody Wants This Season 2 will welcome a parade of guest stars — including Adam Brody's real-life wife Leighton Meester (as Joanne's middle school nemesis), Seth Rogen (The Studio), Kate Berlant (The Other Two), Alex Karpovsky (Girls) and Arian Moayed (Succession).
Girls veterans Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan serve as showrunners, while series creator Erin Foster returns as an executive producer.
All 10 episodes drop Thursday, Oct. 23. For additional scoop on Season 2, check out TVLine's Fall TV Preview.
