TVLine Items: HBO Orders Rachel Sennott Comedy, PBS Sets Maigret Series And More

Bottoms star/co-writer Rachel Sennott's next project has officially landed a series order at HBO.

The premium cabler has picked up an untitled comedy — starring, written and executive-produced by Sennott — in which "a codependent friend group reunites, navigating how the time apart, ambition, and new relationships have changed them," per the official synopsis.

In addition to Sennott (The Idol, Call Your Mother), the cast includes Odessa A'zion (Grand Army, Fam), Jordan Firstman (Ms. Marvel, Search Party), Miles Robbins (Miracle Workers) and True Whitaker (Godfather of Harlem).

* The Max comedy Bookie has promoted Rob Corddry, who plays Walt Dinty, to series regular for Season 2 (premiering in December 2024).

* Sidebar: A Suits Watch Podcast, hosted by stars Patrick J. Adams and Sarah Rafferty, will debut Tuesday, Sept. 24.

* Dinner Time Live With David Chang Season 2 will premiere Tuesday, Oct. 8 on Netflix, with nine holiday-themed episodes rolling out weekly on Tuesdays at 7 pm ET/4 pm PT, our sister site Variety reports.

* The Glen Powell-starring Hulu comedy Chad Powers has added Clayne Crawford (Lethal Weapon), Toby Huss (Halt and Catch Fire), Colton Ryan (The Girl From Plainville) and Xavier Mills (Legacies) as recurring guest stars, Variety reports.
