The Morning Show Season 4: Alex Is Ready To 'Burn The House Down' In Explosive New Trailer
The more things change, the more they stay the same in the just-released trailer for Season 4 of Apple TV+'s The Morning Show.
We open on Alex (Jennifer Aniston) proudly declaring a "reset," promising that UBN — formerly UBA, prior to last season's merger — is a "new company" with a "different culture." She and the network's other female leaders talk a big talk about "real change," rededicating themselves to telling important stories and getting them right. There's just one problem, as noted by newcomer Celine (Marion Cotillard): "It's a nice idea... but it's not sexy."
As if Alex needs another headache, Bradley (Reese Witherspoon) and Chip (Mark Duplass) are hard at work on an investigative piece that would implicate their former employer in a fatal cover-up.

Season 4 will get underway on Wednesday, Sept. 17. New episodes will follow weekly until the season finale, which is slated for Nov. 19.
In addition to returning cast members Aniston, Witherspoon, Duplass, Billy Crudup, Karen Pittman, Greta Lee, Nicole Beharie and Nestor Carbonell, the new season will add Jeremy Irons (who's playing Alex's father, Martin), Cotillard (a "savvy operator" named Celine), William Jackson Harper (network sports exec Ben), Aaron Pierre (visual artist Miles) and Boyd Holbrook (provocative podcaster Brodie).
Per the official synopsis, The Morning Show's fourth season "opens in spring 2024, almost two years after the events of season three. With the UBA-NBN merger complete, the newsroom must grapple with newfound responsibility, hidden motives, and the elusive nature of truth in a polarized America. In a world rife with deepfakes, conspiracy theories, and corporate cover-ups — who can you trust? And how can you know what's actually real?"
Season 3 of the Apple TV+ drama ended with a cliffhanger as Witherspoon's Bradley turned herself over to the Federal Bureau of Investigation for destroying evidence tying her brother Hal to the Jan. 6 insurrection. After struggling with how her hand in the riots at the United States Capitol Building would affect her journalism career, Bradley chose to come clean with the support of Jennifer Aniston's Alex... but also with the future of her career uncertain. Meanwhile, Alex closed the season by proposing a merger between her struggling network, UBA, and its rival, NBN, after discovering that tech powerhouse and potential UBA buyer Paul was spying on her co-workers.
