The Voice Top 8 Results Recap: One Never Nose
Adam Levine may be People magazine's erstwhile Sexiest Man Alive and The Voice's Bromancer-in-Chief, but tonight we learned he'd better not stand between Carson Daly and a good cause.
As our intrepid host donned a crimson snout to promote Red Nose Day, He Who Spends His Maroon 5 Money on Hideous Bowling Shirts broke into a fit of giggles, then scoffed, "It's super hard to take you seriously right now."
Carson, however, was not feelin' it: "Trying to lift kids out of poverty, Adam. It's very important," he snapped back, with just enough edge that I imagined The Mighty Xtina grinning (on the inside only) and muttering "Well-played, Grasshopper" under her breath. (The Lady Aguilera looked absolutely gorgeous tonight, BTW: Perhaps the show's stylists are finally on her side?)
But enough of me rambling about things that don't matter — like guest performances by Jason Derulo, a chick from Adam Levine's label (not named Christina Grimmie) and some guy who warbled some song called "Drinking Class." Let's instead recap this week's Top 8 results...

Nobody exactly slayed it in their final impressions, but India's overall body of work this season left me firmly backing her for the save, and a flurry of Tweets ensued.
Failing to save @indiacarney is the equivalent of dumping Sauvignon Blanc into the gutter. #VoiceSaveIndia
