Marvel At NYCC: Wonder Man Trailer Revealed — Plus, Updates On WandaVision Spinoff, Daredevil And More
At New York Comic-Con on Saturday, Marvel released the first full trailer for Wonder Man, which will now premiere on Disney+ on Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2026 at 9/8c. (The eight-episode series was previously slated to debut in December.)
The show follows Simon Williams (played by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II), a struggling actor hoping to land the role of his idol, Wonder Man after filmmaker Von Kovak (Superman's Zlatko Burić) announces that he's going to remake the classic Wonder Man film. While in pursuit of the role, Simon befriends fellow actor Trevor Slattery (Ben Kingsley). (Watch trailer above.)
In other Marvel news...
* VisionQuest, the conclusion of the trilogy that started with WandaVision and continued with Agatha All Along, will premiere in 2026. Fans at NYCC were treated to footage of the show, which revealed several cast members: Henry Lewis as D.U.M.-E, Jonathan Sayer as U, James D'Arcy as J.A.R.V.I.S., Orla Brady as F.R.I.D.A.Y. and Emily Hampshire as E.D.I.T.H. James Spader also returned as Ultron, reprising his role from 2015's Avengers: Age of Ultron. The footage ended with Ruaridh Mollica appearing in a CC-TV recording where he's identified as Thomas Shepherd.
* Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 is still on track for a March 2026 release, and will see Matt Murdock, Wilson Fisk and Jessica Jones facing off again. During a NYCC panel, Krysten Ritter and Charlie Cox confirmed a third season is in the works.
* X-Men '97 has scored an early Season 3 renewal at Disney+; Season 2 is set to premiere in Summer 2026.
* Marvel also shared footage of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2 at NYCC, which featured a familiar sentient black goo. The sophomore season is coming to Disney+ in Fall 2026.
