Paradise's Sterling K. Brown Is On High Alert In New Dan Fogelman Drama — 2025 FIRST LOOK (Exclusive)
We don't know what's grabbed Sterling K. Brown's attention in this exclusive new photo from Hulu's Paradise, but we know that we sure wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of that steely gaze.

The Emmy-winning This Is Us alum stars in the hourlong drama, playing the head of security for a former president; the commander-in-chief in question is played by James Marsden (Westworld, Jury Duty). The action takes place in what the series' official logline describes as "a serene community inhabited by some of the world's most prominent individuals. But this tranquility explodes when a shocking murder occurs and a high-stakes investigation unfolds."

In the photo above, part of TVLine's month-long #2025FirstLook series, Brown's character appears to be on the job at an event. But no one else seems bothered by what's happening: What might he see?!
The cast also includes Julianne Nicholson (Mare of Easttown), who reportedly portrays a political operative; Sarah Shahi (Sex/Life), who reportedly plays a therapist; Percy Daggs IV (The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey), Nicole Brydon Bloom (The Gilded Age) and newcomer Aliyah Mastin.
The thriller, formerly known as Paradise City, was written by This Is Us creator Fogelman. Both he and Brown executive-produce the drama, alongside Jess Rosenthal (This Is Us, Only Murders in the Building) and John Hoberg (black-ish, My Name Is Earl).
Paradise will have a three-episode premiere on Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2025; single episodes will follow weekly. You can watch the show's trailer here.
