The Way Home Season 3: Kat And Elliot Dance Into A New Mystery — 2025 FIRST LOOK (Exclusive)

TVLine's month-long #2025FirstLook series continues with an exclusive photo from Season 3 of the time-traveling family drama, which premieres Friday, Jan. 3, 2025 at 9/8c on Hallmark Channel.
In the below first look, Kat and Elliot share a romantic embrace as they dance, which certainly bodes well for their future. But something's also got Kat looking very perplexed, and given that this is The Way Home, the mysterious source of her confusion could be anything from a time-travel twist to a relationship speedbump.
As you'll recall, Season 2 concluded with Elliot telling Kat that he now understood her need to time travel after he took his own time-trip and shared a moment with pseudo-father Colton. He then said he wanted her to choose him, and the pair shared a kiss, after which Kat told Elliot that she needed time for his words to sink in. Later, she confessed to a vision of her would-be 1800s paramour Thomas, with whom she also shared a kiss, that maybe she could have loved him, but she loves someone else: Elliot!
"Season 3 shows that there's some growing that needs to happen for both Kat and Elliot," Evan Williams, who plays Elliot, tells TVLine. "And I'm glad that the writers are also not making it simple. Like, it's not a binary thing, and because of that, if they can manage to find their way together, it will be that much more rewarding."
