Big Brother Live Feed Spoilers: The White Locust Twist Sends A Polarizing Player Packing
The following contains MAJOR spoilers for Big Brother's White Locust twist, including the game's latest elimination. If you want to remain unspoiled until the next episode airs (Tuesday, 8/7c on CBS) — consider this your final warning!
When Big Brother's live feeds returned around 9 pm PT Friday, BB27 was down one larger-than-life player. And you won't believe what just happened inside that house!
Let's not bury the lede: Rachel Reilly (and her 10,000 sparkly outfits) has been evicted from the Big Brother house. You read that right. And it was all the Mastermind's (read: the producers) doing! But she wasn't voted out. Her shocking exit was the result of a comp loss tied to this whole "White Locust" business that was teased in Thursday's live eviction episode.
Here's how it all went down.

According to Hamsterwatch, the houseguests were forced to play a safety chain comp similar to what took Danielle Reyes out in Big Brother: Reindeer Games. Houseguests were chosen to complete the comp one at a time, but each player had less time to complete the task than the ones before them. The comp was one we've seen before: the large hamster wheel that players have to rotate in order to move a ball through a maze. One player went first, then selected the next player to go, and so on, and so forth. By the time Rachel was up, she wasn't able to finish it with whatever remaining time she had left, so she was immediately evicted from the house. And with her elimination, she became the first juror of BB27.

As far as polarizing Big Brother houseguests are concerned, Rachel Reilly is probably at the top of the list. (I personally love the "dramada," the fire, and yes, the looks she's been serving this season — good and bad.) But to have the season's only returning houseguest exit on a twist like this, and not even from gameplay, social standing or an eviction vote leaves a bitter taste in my mouth, to say the least. Producers can't be happy with how this played out, right? As BB fan Jace Pierce so perfectly said via Bluesky, "Ratings better grab a life vest."
Well, Big Brother fans. You know what they say. Expect the unexpected... but that doesn't mean we have to like it.
