The Challenge: USA Recap: One Player's Chaos Threatens To Destroy His Game — And His Name Isn't 'Messy Fessy'!

In Wednesday's episode of The Challenge: USA, one player's gameplay was so erratic, it even had Messy Fessy's head spinning.

But before we get to all of that mayhem, Sebastian and Tori continue getting closer, and Fessy, for some reason, feels the need to chime in saying that a showmance isn't good for either of their games. Fessy, who had a showmance with Haleigh Broucher on BB20, and who... actually, I don't have enough time in this recap to review his laundry list of Challenge hook-ups. Back to your glass house, Fes!

Michaela, meanwhile, has her eyes on Chris. She tells him that some of the things he's doing are rubbing people the wrong way, especially other Survivor players he's supposedly aligned with. She has the decency to let him know what's up, but does he listen to her warning? Not. At. All.

DAILY CHALLENGE | In "Speed Jumps," the players use trampolines to peek over a wall at a series of numbers. The top three men and women to add up the sum correctly move on to Round 2. Unsurprisingly, most of these reality TV veterans can't do simple math. (And yes, they deserve the shade.) Josh, Fessy and Sebastian move on, alongside Chanelle, Tori and Michele.

In Stage 2, players jump on another trampoline, only this time it's on top of a big rig flying down a runway. They must jump up and grab flags that are worth one, two or three points, and they can only take one flag at a time. The man and woman with the most points will win and... you know the drill.

When Tori's turn hits, she takes a nasty fall, landing directly on her back (which of course the episode shows in slo-mo multiple times). But she's a warrior. Not only does she get back up to finish her run, but she solidifies her second individual win. Fessy cinches the dub for the men.

NOMINATIONS | Fessy says that if it was up to him, he'd say Wes or Bananas' name. But he knows with Tori also being in power, the MTV vets and Sebastian are off the table. He pitches a plan to try and get a Survivor player out and agrees to go with Chris, but only if Tori will agree to keep Alyssa safe. After the "commercial break," we see they've selected Cassidy and Chris.

Sebastian decides that everyone should vote for Cory, which would save Cass and get a big male competitor out. Chris, however, pitches the idea of voting for a woman (Michele), since he has a better chance of winning a Daily and keeping his squad safe. Despite Michaela's warning, Chris continues slinging his messy gameplay around, starting rumors, saying (way too many) names and annoying the entire house. Josh tells Chris up front that he's more or less digging himself a hole he won't be able to get out of, and at this point, it'd be surprising if he wasn't competing in tonight's Arena.

THE ARENA | So who's it gonna be? Even though mostly everyone votes for a guy, Chris' one vote on Alyssa could sink this entire ship. But let's review how the votes shook out.

Sebastian: 6
Tyler: 5
Alyssa: 1
Bananas: 1

TJ pulls a name from the Hopper and... Sebastian and Chris are going head-to-head.

In "Trick, Trick Boom," opponents start on a giant tower filled with balls. They must race down a ladder to line up three barrels, all with panels on them. They must toss balls from the platform to sink a trick-shot into the colored barrel, but the ball must touch all three panels. After that, they must add two sideways panels and hit another trick-shot, this time hitting all five panels.

Chris seems methodic in his decisions and remains cool, calm and collected. He's also sinks the first shot, quickly adding the side panels to his set-up. Sebastian does sink one and isn't far behind, but it all falls apart for him when Chris hits his final target, thus sending the former Survivor: Ghost Island castaway on the first flight home.

Is Chris a "dead man walking," as Chanelle puts it? Let us know your thoughts by dropping some comments!
